- Compilation of many trips to a city lake beach. I finally struck big silver in the water. My camera died before the last segment so I had to use a lower quality one. Watch part I here- • Metal Detecting A 1940...

What an exciting find! Congrats!!! That is a great spot and sooo much fun !
Congrats on the Walker Halfs! GREAT news comes in pairs!!!!! And 2 Washingtons on the same hunt in the same hole! Nice bunch of hunts for sure!!
Congrats on the Walkers!! That second one must have been a recent drop. Great Video....:) HH& GL, Dan
When I was young if you had 50 cents in your pocket it was as a rule like the very one you found or the Ben Franklin 50 cent piece . Brought back memories . Congrats on the finds .
They are worth 10-15 Dollars today and even more for rare dates , so do not let someone talk you out of them .
Congrats on the walkers and the washingtons!!!! Amazing what silver coins can be found in the water too:) Great hunts:)
Wow!!! What a great set of hunts my friend!! Congrats on the walking liberty's and the quarters. It was like that with standing liberty's for me, I never found one and then bam three in one weekend. Great job!!! GB+HH
Great job on the half dollar find! I too am on year 4 of metal detecting and have yet to find one. Clad or otherwise.
you have the best videos out there..Great job!!!

***** Thanks for watching.
i like these long video adventures, nice finds man.
Hey bud, just found your channel and we subbed ya!...Great videos man, Congrats on the Walkers!!..one of my favorite coins. Keep at man, Best of luck and HH
Nice digs, congrats on the walkers man. I compare detecting any area to trying to color a sheet of paper with a ball point pen, you can almost never cover every bit.
Nothing like the Walking Liberty.....After 3 months of detecting I landed a 46 Walker....what a rush so I know the feeling. WTG!!
Dean U. It took me 4 years, found all sorts of oldies but never a half. Thanks for watching.
Outstanding!
Oh my gosh i love all of this thumbs up!
MrFlowcity ...lol
Compare the genuine emotion and excitement in this video to any of the lame "Diggers" shows on tv--really enjoyed this video.
I hate those root traps. The coin sinks down with every scoop. I'm always afraid I'm in a snake hole. Plus it always ends up a penny
Beautiful sound @ 10:10
Nice Walkers, man! Congrats! I usually bring two detectors with: the Etrac (for land) and the AT Pro (for water). You're a lot braver than I am in bringing your minelab in the water.
StivNagen I've been looking at water machines. I want something that will do well in salt & fresh water. I know I'm flirting with disaster wading with it. Thanks for watching.
***** A few friends and I had great success using the Excalibur II in Okinawa. Worked very well in the salt water and didn't really get affected by rolling tides. It's light weight compared to most of the other salt water machines that have large battery boxes on them.
William McQuillen And for your scoop, what we also did was got a small stainless steel rod and welded it on the bends of the scoop, both inside and out in order to keep it from bending. Certainly worth the few extra bucks and time if you are going to hit waters with a lot of junk/rocks/hard ground.
Nice hunt! It sounds like you have that place all to yourself. Congratulations! There has to be gold there. somewhere...Go get it!
unlucky lester Not many people there, more crowded in the summer I'm sure. I dug every signal in the water, hardly any low signals. Thanks for watching.
***** considering there isn't that much junk there. I would 2 tone ferrous hunt that place. set the ferrous line on 25 and dig everything. It seems like a place to go during WW2. Not to mention the nickels have a really good chance of being silver there. I think it would pay off big time for you. Rings in the water are a lot different than on land. I think it's all the iron on the beach. Good luck. I really enjoy your videos.
how ya doin? good job on all the silvers. u still out there in maine? took a break from parks and been doin alotta old foundations, the other week at two across the street ffrom each other i found a new jersy copper and a merc a foot over and a wheatcent in a good luck charm, and then 1803 lc and a 1809 half cent in the same hole, and 20 feet over my friend found a 1794 lc and a bunch of buttons and usual clonial stuff.. see ur still doin good wit all the silver. keep up the good work some of ur tips helped out thanx.. if u ever come back to this area if u havent sold ur house still got some nice places to hit up.. ttyl
Hey it is always good to go back to sights and detect them again. If i had not done that myself i would not have found my union army button. =)
spiderbite1978 I work places to death if I'm finding stuff at them. Hard to find a good spot. Thanks for watching.
Major League impressive...
TexasTigerDigs Thanks for watching.
cool!!!!!!
Nice silver dime..1947. Didn't look like you realized you had silver? lol I have this long tested program ..Thought it may help you if you want to try it. These are settings for my Explorer2 but you may get the picture for the E-trac. My friend has the E-trac and set his machine accordingly to these maximum depth settings for a stock coil. If you use a WOT 15" or equivalent you have to lower your sensitivity between 10 to 24 (max on Explorer is 32) and Gain down to 6 or 7 for MAXIMUM DEPTH!!! The rest of settings same as below.
Note: if you have to adjust Sense lower ..do so only if you have to, If you can't adjust your frequency manually..just use your noise cancel. These are really bascially the same detectors, the Explorer2 and the E-trac.
Looking at your screen, You have your dicrim set to too much discriminated out... you will lose many masked targets! ...Here is your deepest setting for a stock coil in a fairly non-trash area. In Advanced, Edit...start with a clear screen and just eliminate Nails, Crown Caps and Ferrous coins (Steel Cents) only! Hunt in FERROUS (Not Conductive), Deep,Fast Off, Gain 8 +-1, Frequency at 5 if no overhead wires or other electro interference. Sensitivity at 30 + (32 highest), Variability 10 (highest), Limits 10 (highest), Threshold Tone 10 (Highest), Max limits 10 Highest), Audio 1 (Normal, Audio 1, Audio 2 and Audio 3). Last of all keep your Iron Mask screen at -16 (clear screen...nothing discriminated out) so you can click back and forth to check signals if you have to.
It's annoying when you go over and over a spot then go over it again
HEY DM, change your name 2 walker man? congrats man!!!!
Nice video. Goes to show you can sometimes detect the same place many times or even for months. One of my very first permissions keeps throwing up more and more coins every time in go. It might have something to do with the conditions ie like damp soil etc. here's mine ruclips.net/video/heWKVOwD2d4/видео.html
AWESOME SCORE!!!
Get back in the water!!!
W.
aRustyPatina I went in as deep as possible several times. I'm looking to get a water machine. Thanks for watching.

Great job brother. HH and see you @ the next find, Terry...
