10 Formulas You Should Memorize For AP Physics 1 Exam
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 4 апр 2020
- During the entire school year I get asked by students what formulas they need to memorize and which will be on the reference table. Here are ten formulas you should memorize heading into the AP Physics 1 exam. Although these can all be derived you will save yourself a lot of time on the AP Exam if you can memorize these ten!
If there is a topic you want me to do leave them in the comments below.

Yo same my teacher didn’t teach us any ap material lmao
@@621dandan my teacher didn’t teach, she just gave assessments 🤦🏽♂️
V=2pi r/T for velocity in centripetal motion. Angular momentum of point particle is mvr
Yessir
thank you for the recap! this really juggled my brain in a good way
Nice
Great video, really helps. This question has been asked so much this year, so thank you. This really brought a lot together. Great video.
Thank you... will definitely be more helpful in future years when you don’t get to make your own reference table. 🤦🏻♂️
Taking the exam in less than two hours
@Ethan Sun good luck
Amateurs. I’m having my in-exam break right now.
Me rn
Update please?

Watching this video and realizing I am screwed... we barely went over any rotational motion problems before moving to an entirely different unit.
Yikes
I'm glad I'm taking this class at community college, the final will be made by the teacher. If you're still in highschool I'd recommend looking into dual enrollment
Thanks for clarifying which formulas to memorize! Great video!👍
No problem Eesha!! Remember, this year, you don’t need to memorize anything
@@themathandphysicstutor
Wait, just to clarify. The AP this year is only going to be two short responses?
Yup. Check out my most recent video
im so screwed
Sucks
me watching this while i’m failing this class and i have an hour before i go into the test-
Good luck
Thank you so much!
You're welcome!

10:17 so would each inertia be equal to mr^2+m(2r)^2+m(3r)^2... etc. Also what is a point particle?
It depends on the things you are looking at. A point particle is a particle that acts as a single point
The numbers 2 and 3 in your expression are subscripts, rather than coefficients.
To write subscripts in text, I recommend underscores. Here's how I would write it:
I = m_1*r_1^2 + m_2*r_2^2 + m_3*r_3^2
thanks!!
You're welcome!
Circuits is not on the 2020 AP exams buds.
Absolutely screwed. My teacher gave us packets for every unit and taught us nothing. Questions on tests were identical to questions in the packet but with different numbers, so we were forced to memorize how to solve specific problems rather than conceptually figure out solutions. Will almost definitely fail tomorrow.
its okay buddy yyou sre more thsn your test score
slay the day

What units are rotational inertia measured in?
Kg m^2
Mu(coefficient of friction)= tan theta
not always. That is a very specific case
Having late ap exams tmrw and im screwed 😢😢
I’m really screwed
Bummer
It’s in 4 hours 😢
I don't really like to memorize, but i'll memorize anyway to make it easier
Thanks for sharing

It wasn't easy. I saw it! you were prepared!
for 7, I don't understand what r, axis of rotation means. can you tell me how it would be normally given in a problem?
It’s the distance from the axis of rotation. There isn’t an easier way to explain it IMO
