- It is so nice to see the developement of St Thomas road network. Also to see how these workers are really working and showing so much love on the job. This section of work is from Horse Savanah Bridge to Hordley Crossing in eastern St Thomas.

Well I did a Google search and the river is called Horse Savannah in St Thomas. By the way Portland is an offshoot of St Thomas in The East. Monchaneal was the last part to be given to Portland along with Long Bay so in either case it's Still St. Thomas.

That bridge is known to us in the area as (krucksheng bridge) (dont known if that's the correct spelling)the new name was given when they rebuild the bridge..
There are 2 bridges, one at the border and one recenly rebuilt. The savana bridge must be the border and the other crookshen bridge. Whatever the spelling.

Our work ethics are very poor when doing things for our country or individual. And this is why he has to praise CHEC. It seems we work better supervise just like been in slavery. Only the whip missing and the tractors helping. I am thankful for the road work.

There's an article on the Jamaica Information Service website: Gov't to Undertake Feasibility study for South Coast Highway Project July 29, 2012 Full story. 😊😂 The government has signed a US$2.7 million contract with American company, Stanley Consultant Inc., for the implementation of a feasibility study and preliminary design for the Southern Coastal Highway Improvement Project. The study, which is being funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB),is expected to be completed in one year. It will assess and design the preferred alignment of the proposed South Coast Highway from Port Antonio to Harbour View (Phase 1) and Mandeville to Negril (Phase 2) Speaking at the contract signing ceremony held on Friday (July 27) at the Whispering Bamboo Cove Resorts In St.Thomas, Minister Of Transport, Works and Housing, Dr the Hon.
