When he’s up on the roof at the beginning, there are 2 round windows on the trailer - one is transparent and the other is blue, but not see through. It is also bolted so whatever is inside can’t get out of that door (closet?). The door with the clear window has no latch/bolt. Maybe a reference that Harry can be open/transparent, but Louis can’t yet?

There's also the connection of being in a skeleton outfit on the black horse, as a symbol of the death of part of the self -- a deep transformation. Falling off the tightrope on purpose, not by accident is important symbolism. The 28 symbolism on the horse is fantastic I think of Harry staying on that ride (with supporting person symbolism tied to 28). The fact he is not thrown from the horse is great - he stayed on and then rides! I loved your video you caught so many details within the colors of the birds. I knew they were birds, but you captured so much more about it. I thought the clown was great and the interaction there too with a big smile from him. And the running past the mirrors (not gazing for deep reflection there), but his run is similar to him on stage with L running. Cool share, it feels like a treasure hunt with these symbols, I love it with great music.

Here is my elaborate analysis: credit goes to some other comments with similar ideas and the video of course, this is just a summary with some additional thoughts :) - First of all the whole mv is set in a circus, showing Harry constantly having to put on a show. - He starts off climbing down a ladder (- a ladder from heaven, maybe signaling the first few months of 1D when they could still be together, now he’s back on earth, back to reality) The whole thing looks a lot like Louis’ Walls merch that shows a boy on a ladder, painting Louis’ smiley face = Harry making Louis smile. - The trailer (that might have been used as a *closet*) has two doors, one with a clear window through which Harry exits (glass closet) and another one with a blue window that seems to be bolted. They are both still in the closet, even though Harry is much more open with his sexuality, making it obvious to the outside world even though he’s not officially allowed to come out, while Louis is still very much hidden. - At 0:28 he reaches the knive throwing stand - a reference to Louis’ dagger tattoo, showing that the relationship might have been dangerous at some point. Harry looks scared, the dagger misses him and he looks relieved. - He passes another trailer, one with two bathroom doors. The female bathroom has stairs in front of them, the male one does not, instead is is barricaded with a blue closet and out of reach = men are off limit, only women are accessible. - Just some other cute references: his poses mimick a performance he put on as a child, which has nothing to do with Larry but is a sign that there are easter eggs that we should pay attention to… - Eventually, he reaches a clown wearing a dress with blue and green dots. He stands for the clowning of the fans who are constantly trying to find clues. The clown stands in his way as if to say “hold on, who do you think you’re fooling?”. Harry mimicks tears, saying “please let me through, I’m sad” and the clown reacts with empathy and lets Harry pass to which Harry smiles and continues walking. Also, the clown is the only other person in the mv that Harry has a direct interaction with and with whom he openly shares his emotions, showing that the fans (or Larries) are the only ones who truly understand and see through him. We also have to keep in mind that he introduced the mv with the words “it’s just a video, just for you”, thereby saying he knows that the fans know and that this video is his subtle confirmation for us. - When he reaches the lyric “you got me calling at all times” he reaches a giant megaphone through which he screams. The woman on the other side, even though she’s standing directly in front of it, is convering her ears, unwilling to listen to what Harry has to say. This could stand for him being so loud with his sexuality (in the way he dresses, acts, what he says, the clues he gives, basically anything) but people still refuse to accept the fact that he might not be straight. - Next, he reaches another closet (one that looks exactly like Niall’s Heaven candle), steps inside and is once again locked. He thinks he’s entering heaven but it is yet another closet, at the same time it could also be interpreted that he’s stepping in a blue closet to be with Louis, agreeing to hide if that means being together. - Now he becomes a yellow bird being shot out of a cannon and flying for a short while. In the background we see a sign split in three colors: yellow with the word man, blue with the word woman and a pink one saying man as well. This color symbolism becomes important. He’s flying for a short while as a yellow bird, perhaps signaling a time of trying heterosexuality and several relationships with women. At times he looks happy to fly but then he is also kicking his feat as to escape. At the end of his short flying phase he looks sad and returns back to earth after not having found fulfillment in straigh relationships. He loses his wings, still wearing the yellow bird costume though. - In this yellow costume he walks past a row of distorting mirrors and looks at his distorted reflection. This could signal the media showing a false and distorted image of him, e.g. portraying his as a womanizer. - Now for the most obvious one: When he sings “if I was a bluebird I would fly to you” he is surrounded by woman in blue (Louis blue;) bird costumes while he is still the yellow bird = if he was a was a woman he could fly to the one he loves. One of the blue women reaches for him put he pulls away because he is not interested in a straight relationship. Eventually he runs away from them, past the distorting mirrors. - We find him on a tightrope wearing a skeleton suit → deep down his life is a constant balancing act - between who he truly is and what he choses to show to the world). - Towards the end we see him on a horse - a horse that has the number 28 on one side of the saddle and the rose featured in Louis’ 28 merch on the other side. He is literally “riding” Louis… - Finally, the last scene shows him letting himself fall off the tightrope. Being released right before his final Love On Tour show, this shows him taking a break, finishing his show of constantly pretending to be someone else, to either be with Louis or at least to stop balancing and pretending to be with someone else. God, this was fun XD Harry, you're a genius, we see what you're doing!!

When he’s up on the roof at the beginning, there are 2 round windows on the trailer - one is transparent and the other is blue, but not see through. It is also bolted so whatever is inside can’t get out of that door (closet?). The door with the clear window has no latch/bolt. Maybe a reference that Harry can be open/transparent, but Louis can’t yet?

@@defenselessstyles I think falling off the tightrope is connected to Zayn's tightrope symbolism he did (see Z's tightrope video). There's also the connection of being in a skeleton outfit on the black horse, as a symbol of the death of part of the self -- a deep transformation. Falling off the tightrope on purpose, not by accident is important symbolism. The 28 symbolism on the horse is fantastic I think of Harry staying on that ride (with supporting person symbolism tied to 28). The fact he is not thrown from the horse is great - he stayed on and then rides! I loved your video you caught so many details within the colors of the birds. I knew they were birds, but you captured so much more about it. I thought the clown was great and the interaction there too with a big smile from him. And the running past the mirrors (not gazing for deep reflection there), but his run is similar to him on stage with L running. Cool share, it feels like a treasure hunt with these symbols, I love it with great music.
Also the “hall of mirrors” meaning of illusion and distorted reality!

Here is my elaborate analysis:
credit goes to some other comments with similar ideas and the video of course, this is just a summary with some additional thoughts :)
- First of all the whole mv is set in a circus, showing Harry constantly having to put on a show.
- He starts off climbing down a ladder (- a ladder from heaven, maybe signaling the first few months of 1D when they could still be together, now he’s back on earth, back to reality) The whole thing looks a lot like Louis’ Walls merch that shows a boy on a ladder, painting Louis’ smiley face = Harry making Louis smile.
- The trailer (that might have been used as a *closet*) has two doors, one with a clear window through which Harry exits (glass closet) and another one with a blue window that seems to be bolted. They are both still in the closet, even though Harry is much more open with his sexuality, making it obvious to the outside world even though he’s not officially allowed to come out, while Louis is still very much hidden.
- At 0:28 he reaches the knive throwing stand - a reference to Louis’ dagger tattoo, showing that the relationship might have been dangerous at some point. Harry looks scared, the dagger misses him and he looks relieved.
- He passes another trailer, one with two bathroom doors. The female bathroom has stairs in front of them, the male one does not, instead is is barricaded with a blue closet and out of reach = men are off limit, only women are accessible.
- Just some other cute references: his poses mimick a performance he put on as a child, which has nothing to do with Larry but is a sign that there are easter eggs that we should pay attention to…
- Eventually, he reaches a clown wearing a dress with blue and green dots. He stands for the clowning of the fans who are constantly trying to find clues. The clown stands in his way as if to say “hold on, who do you think you’re fooling?”. Harry mimicks tears, saying “please let me through, I’m sad” and the clown reacts with empathy and lets Harry pass to which Harry smiles and continues walking. Also, the clown is the only other person in the mv that Harry has a direct interaction with and with whom he openly shares his emotions, showing that the fans (or Larries) are the only ones who truly understand and see through him. We also have to keep in mind that he introduced the mv with the words “it’s just a video, just for you”, thereby saying he knows that the fans know and that this video is his subtle confirmation for us.
- When he reaches the lyric “you got me calling at all times” he reaches a giant megaphone through which he screams. The woman on the other side, even though she’s standing directly in front of it, is convering her ears, unwilling to listen to what Harry has to say. This could stand for him being so loud with his sexuality (in the way he dresses, acts, what he says, the clues he gives, basically anything) but people still refuse to accept the fact that he might not be straight.
- Next, he reaches another closet (one that looks exactly like Niall’s Heaven candle), steps inside and is once again locked. He thinks he’s entering heaven but it is yet another closet, at the same time it could also be interpreted that he’s stepping in a blue closet to be with Louis, agreeing to hide if that means being together.
- Now he becomes a yellow bird being shot out of a cannon and flying for a short while. In the background we see a sign split in three colors: yellow with the word man, blue with the word woman and a pink one saying man as well. This color symbolism becomes important. He’s flying for a short while as a yellow bird, perhaps signaling a time of trying heterosexuality and several relationships with women. At times he looks happy to fly but then he is also kicking his feat as to escape. At the end of his short flying phase he looks sad and returns back to earth after not having found fulfillment in straigh relationships. He loses his wings, still wearing the yellow bird costume though.
- In this yellow costume he walks past a row of distorting mirrors and looks at his distorted reflection. This could signal the media showing a false and distorted image of him, e.g. portraying his as a womanizer.
- Now for the most obvious one: When he sings “if I was a bluebird I would fly to you” he is surrounded by woman in blue (Louis blue;) bird costumes while he is still the yellow bird = if he was a was a woman he could fly to the one he loves. One of the blue women reaches for him put he pulls away because he is not interested in a straight relationship. Eventually he runs away from them, past the distorting mirrors.
- We find him on a tightrope wearing a skeleton suit → deep down his life is a constant balancing act - between who he truly is and what he choses to show to the world).
- Towards the end we see him on a horse - a horse that has the number 28 on one side of the saddle and the rose featured in Louis’ 28 merch on the other side. He is literally “riding” Louis…
- Finally, the last scene shows him letting himself fall off the tightrope. Being released right before his final Love On Tour show, this shows him taking a break, finishing his show of constantly pretending to be someone else, to either be with Louis or at least to stop balancing and pretending to be with someone else.
