"You fly under the radar a little bit..." I had probably the same confused look on my face as poor Alan. I honestly did not had a clue what she is talking about - it came out of nowhere - until her coworker tried to explain. "Hmm.. that's a good place to fly..." As intelligent, witty and eloquent with words he always was - this is probably the first time I saw him practically lost for words how to respond. The whole interview was a nightmare from offering wine at 8am! to "Bottle Rocket". He had the patience of a saint but was obviously uncomfortable as hell the whole time.
Oh dear Lord, this was mortifying to watch. Alan deserves so much more! He is the most divine creature to ever grace this planet! So unbelievably gorgeous and such a consummate actor! It irritates me to watch him being treated with such ignorance. Gah! Rant over. Oh, I do love him so.
This is a Bottle Shock interview?? It looks like a Harry Potter interview!!! They talk all the time about Harry Potter and Snape. I LOVE THIS INTERVIEW. :P
Did anyone else notice the body language? The folded arms during the entire interview, the receding into the chair? It's the whole 'I don't want to be here', look. Maybe it was too early in the morning for him. But, he's a terrific actor, and so charming in a 'I'll tear your throat out' kind of way,....even for these twits
lol!! VERY well-put, luciJB!!; D X D xDDDD I totally agree! Sometimes, when awestruck, the less said, the better! I'd concentrate on what HE was saying so I could respond to him even non-verbally like he says good acting is done sometimes. He rocks! He's so wise and such a student of human nature!(I reserve the gushing and emoting for the RUclips comment column. It's therapeutic!)
bottle shock is awesome got in on dvd and it´s great! pullman does a great job and alan rickman is wonderful as ever. great movie about visions, hope and family! I am so xcited how alice in wonderland will be!
Okay, sure I'd be as excited if I saw Alan Rickman, but there's a reason why I'm not interviewing him, right? Alan was probably thinking, "Er... grow up!" and I loved that reply to the stupid 'You fly under the radar a little bit. Do you feel that way?' : "Erm.. that's a good place to fly."
oskarcaceres0- Alan Rickman is one of the hottest, most sought after actors around. He has been in high demand for the past 15 years. He has been offered many, many roles. He is simply very selective about those roles he accepts. Also, he is a marvelous playwright and Director.
Did anyone else notice the body language? Folded arms, receding into the chair.....'I don't want to be here', look. Charming, but very defensive. Maybe the whole interview was too early in the morning for him. He's a terrific actor....even for these twits.
notice how he kept his arms crossed the ENTIRE time. he was clearly pissed even though he tried to be positive. I wish he would have just gotten up and walked off. Bottle Shock was such an awesome film and the didn't say squat about it. I wanted to slap all of them.
I'm looking at this again, and it is worse than I remembered. Why are those crazy women waving their hands around?? Poor Alan, he must be thinking "these crazy TV people, they can't even get the name of my movie right" "get me out of here" But he would never say it or hurt anyone's feeling. I love him sooo!!! sighhh
I noticed that Alan says something about him being a moving target (referring to all the different characters he has played.) He says the same thing in another interview, like word for word! U think he has memorized that phrase and always says the same thing when asked that question? lol.
I only love to watch this interview, because I like when Alan "Shhssses"them, . with his finger on his lips, as if to say, "shut up" already you crazy, rude inadaqute interviewers!! Let's get this oer with" He's soooo wondeful!!!
Watching this interview gives me stress since every one in there is talking at the same time, interrupting each other and probably not at all listening or even interested in what his/her colleague says.
Kay, so, the interviewers kinda remind me of the 3 hyenas from the Lion King. You know that scene where Scar tosses them the zebra leg and they all scramble around for it? Ahhhhh, call me crazy.
ohh Alan... ok, may be it´s not just me who thinks this but I think he has changed a bit, he´s...sexier *omg*, he´s laughs differently and looks so charming... he´s really like wine, shit I´m so obsessed
He is so patient interview after interview. I'm not saying I could do it, but shouldn't there be some sort of training involved to be an interviewer/talk show host/news anchor? Some of them make me cringe. Bottle Shock never made it to New Jersey here in the US. I am very disappointed.
Prime example of when television shows employee pretty little bimbos who try to ask intelligent questions, but they can't really think of any. They're employed to look good and attract attention, but they shouldn't really be interviewing people - as there's an art to it.
Yea, apparently he doesn't even like doing interviews, which, in my mind, makes this one much worse! He is a dude... So many great roles, each one portrayed so wonderfully.
@AshLuvsJonnyStew i'm trying to make a witty reference to him playing the metatron in kevin smith's film dogma, and what this has to do with it, but i'm failing very terribly.
That damn lady You turned out not to bad (well Snape). Uh hello there are some people who might watch this that have not read all the books!! Love how Alan shushs her! Like Shut up!! lol. I can't believe she says "You know how to keep it in your pants." About his character in Love Actually. What is wrong with these people? Where did they get their degrees from?? They suck!! Poor Alan was uncomfortable! You can tell by his body language!! Love Alan Rickman forever! Just finished watching Rasputin
Yes, I'm silly! That i do admit, but it isn't because I love Alan Rickman! I obviously get a lot more about him than you do, and so do some of his most devoted fans. The man is anything but phony! Too bad we didn't get Bottle Shock here, either. I would like the freedom to make up my own mind about what's a good movie and what isn't. Can't help but wonder, if you feel this way, why are you here watching this video?
Good example of when television shows employee pretty little bimbos who try to ask intelligent questions, but they can't really think of any. They're employed to look good and attract attention, but they shouldn't really be interviewing people - as there's an art to it.
I think they were just overexcited and a bit nervous (which is why they kind of came off as stupid and babbling idiots.) For such a classy guy Alan Rickman deserves so much better though...
Just look at the Alan's face when the host puts his hand on the Alan's back..It seems to me like Alan was trying to put anger on the back burner.(only my opinion.) And I think there is a sort of haughtiness in Alan. Sometimes I find that he looks really phoney..=( It makes me feel deeply disappointed in himself, but I like the characters he's played. Tell the truth I like them much more than the him when he is in real life.
I have to be honest, I would also be pretty excited too if I saw SNAPE in person, but the girls seemed a little over the top. They seemed like they were trying to hard to come across intelligent but really they appeared to be the opposite. Embarrassing.
this is painful, only because these interviewers are completely awful. they hardly ask him anything! their just babbling about random stuff :S *Facepalm* Poor Alan had to sit there for the whole thing.
I will watch anything concerning Alan Rickman...and I've got too say, man this was a terrible interview. Not on Alan's part but god, those women are so ill informed, "Love Actually, Harry Potter, Die Hard," good job ladies!! Then again this show is always on the soup. XD Poor Mr.Rickman

they were just overcome by his presence. like little puppies peeing everywhere out of excitement. but what a gentleman Alan was.
That's cute, like little puppies peeing everywhere🤭😁
When Alan Rickman smiles/laughs an angel gets its wings
his face is like "Oh my god im never doing this again."
Oh dear Lord, this was mortifying to watch. Alan deserves so much more!
He is the most divine creature to ever grace this planet! So unbelievably gorgeous and such a consummate actor! It irritates me to watch him being treated with such ignorance. Gah! Rant over.

I've been watching these AR interviews for a long time today and I can't get out of one without laughing! Of course Alan is funny!!! :D
Thanks for the post!!
yay!! thanks for the upload!
They're not too bad until the end. They kept it casual. I liked it!
Alan Rickman plays an Englishman?
That must have been tough for him!
I think it was tougher to sit through this interview
Alan 😍😍😍😍
lol!! VERY well-put, luciJB!!; D X D xDDDD
I totally agree! Sometimes, when awestruck, the less said, the better!

Alan gets better and better with age!!! sexier!!
a good actor Mr. Rickman has to be given more roles in the movies
bottle shock is awesome got in on dvd and it´s great! pullman does a great job and alan rickman is wonderful as ever. great movie about visions, hope and family! I am so xcited how alice in wonderland will be!

Is that Rihanna's Pon de Replay playing in the background from 1:03-1:22?
Also, LOL at "OMG, Professor Snape, we're excited!" at 1:10.
Alan reminds me of Professor Lupin in the trailer.
LOL.:))
I'm looking at this again, and it is worse than I remembered. Why are those crazy women waving their hands around??
Poor Alan, he must be thinking
"these crazy TV people, they can't even

He is a grear actor.
Is it just me or does he seem younger in this Bottle Shock?
I think Alan Rickman is amazing. Totally love him. But I feel really bad for him having to do an interview with idiots asking him idiotic questions.
I only love to watch this interview, because I like when Alan "Shhssses"them, . with his finger on his lips, as if to say, "shut up" already you
crazy, rude inadaqute interviewers!!

He's soooo wondeful!!!
Watching this interview gives me stress since every one in there is talking at the same time, interrupting each other and probably not at all listening or even interested in what his/her colleague says.
The female inteviewer is so crushing on him... Poor Alan.
Kay, so, the interviewers kinda remind me of the 3 hyenas from the Lion King.
You know that scene where Scar tosses them the zebra leg and they all scramble around for it?
Ahhhhh, call me crazy.
An actor first and a star second? LOL. Alan Rickman is probably thinking "umm...do you have any idea how many people want to lay me?"
To the interviewers: Guys, pls shut up and let us just listen to Alan a bit!
P.S. Pon de Replay is his theme song. *awkward*
he's got beautiful smile, doesn't he ? :)
ohh Alan... ok, may be it´s not just me who thinks this but I think he has changed a bit, he´s...sexier *omg*, he´s laughs differently and looks so charming... he´s really like wine, shit I´m so obsessed

Hope those interviewers are fired by now. How rude they were! Alan deserves better. He's such a gentleman. And of course so sexy!
Rent or buy "Snow Cake" He is wonderful in it!!!
I love Alan Rickman, but I DESPISE the interviewers. You just want to slap them both!
They won't stfu! Alan, you're kind and all, but damn, least say something to them :P.
He is so patient interview after interview. I'm not saying I could do it, but shouldn't there be some sort of training involved to be an interviewer/talk show host/news anchor? Some of them make me cringe. Bottle Shock never made it to New Jersey here in the US. I am very disappointed.

I agree with all of these comments. Alan just looks at them like they're idiots. I

Sorry for my English..
i wish he goes to the Ellen Degeneres Show or Oprah Winfrey Show . Oprah and Ellen are the best host!
Yes, I'm silly! That i do admit, but it isn't because I love Alan Rickman!
I obviously get a lot more about him than you do, and so do some of his most devoted fans. The man is anything but phony!

they threw poor Alan under the bus sooo bad!
Yeah, and he keeps his arms crossed the whole time...definately not happy

I have to be honest, I would also be pretty excited too if I saw SNAPE in person, but the girls seemed a little over the top. They seemed like they were trying to hard to come across intelligent but really they appeared to be the opposite. Embarrassing.

@Jeenymt Fox. Go figure.
God, these interviewers SUCK!
But I'm glad to hear that there's a lot of Snape in the HBP movie :D
I will watch anything concerning Alan Rickman...and I've got too say, man this was a terrible interview. Not on Alan's part but god, those women are so ill informed, "Love Actually, Harry Potter, Die Hard," good job ladies!! Then again this show is always on the soup. XD
Poor Mr.Rickman
The interviewers should just stick to talking about Paris Hilton or Britney Spears or some inane fashion shit..instead of trying to sound educated!
Oh Alan...Parkinson does it so much better..Talk to him instead.....or me, even better!
HAHAHAHHAA
Can these 'interviewers' be any more irritating?
