The Optimus bots will be truly revolutionary! Forget working! Im just going to buy a gang of bots to do everything for me! I'll just lie back in my hover chair drinking cyber cocktails all day like the people in Wall-E and not lift a finger! The future is sweeet!!!

Dont think those airless tyres will last 500,000 miles. The permitted tread will wear down like conventional tyres. Maybe the the outer tread can be replaced, but i'd be surprised if it could. Puncture prove will be great though.
Seeing the bot put a wrench into a tray for instance - stilted, clumsy, dropping the wrench from a height - question is: with the bots 3d vision, it seems it should be able to assess the distance and texture of the tray, and then delicately place the wrench in the tray along side of whatever already exists in the tray. Plus, with the bots other hand, it should be able to hold/steady the tray, if needed. Love the show, but please give a clear explanation to us of the skills needed to do delicate work….like brain surgery (at the top end)
like tesla and starlink they ll be sold to richest 1st for the easiest jobs they can do as they will also be the 1st jobs they can do. so 1st jobs they can do need to link up to richest people. so what are the most remedial tasks at the biggest companies in the world?
- my awd model y wears tires faster in the rear. I believe it’s mostly due to strong rear regen from stronger rear motor (and less front brakes). I imagine this is especially common in rwd teslas too.. larger circumference tire = slower tire wear
They (Tesla) should make a video that is filling goods in a supermarket… people can understand that job and that millions of people are working in supermarkets to fill the shelves and mirroring the stock.
21 inch rear wheel gives improved traction, grip, handling, stability, better weight distribution and cornering, more sporty appearance and improved aerodynamics.
*All EV get better range with smaller wheels, you don't need sporty handling on public taxis the Robo taxi is going to be built for maximum efficiency and cost effective manufacturing.* 😂🎉😂

Think of where Optimus was on day 1 & where it is now & what it can do in that short time. What will it be able to do in 5 yrs & further into the future? Here's a crazy idea. What if Tesla gave each of it's employees a FREE Optimus that they would train to help them with certain tasks of their work where applicable? As Optimus learns a task they expand to another task & so on, each employee in all their factories. Now imagine the employee takes Optimus home with them after work, Optimus belongs to the employee now afterall. Tesla has thousnads of employees from all over the world with different languages, different cultures, customs & traditions that Optimus will learn & pass on to all other Optimus. Optimus will learn numerous work tasks of each emploeee EVERYDAY & Optimus will learn numerous tasks the employees (both men & women) do EVERYDAY at home. What will Optimus be capable of at the end of one yr & in how many languages, cultures, customs & traditions? It's NUTS! Imagine how many people in countries around the world could use a multi-use CyberCab/CyberCar for numerous applications. When I was in Rome I saw thousands of people drove Vespas, not great in bad weather & not great at carrying things, same in Barcelona. Imagine how many European countries could use a multi-purpose CyberCar? Imagine how many countries in Asia, Africa everywhere that could use a multi-purpose electric affordable CyberCar? It's not just a Taxi, it's a multi-purpose car too. It's NUTS! Remember when Tesla unveiled the Semi-Truck, there were two sizes, nobody talks about the other smaller size. If Tesla starts to make two sizes of Semi think of the applications around the world for an electric Semi? It's NUTS! If every country on Earth decided to install 8'X8' Bifacial Solar Fencing on every Interstate Highway on earth how much energy could that produce? Probably enough energy to power the world 20 times over. The US alone has approx. 70 Interstate Highways totaling 50K mi. Bifacial Solar Fencing absorbs sunlight on both sides of the panels & the fencing would be installed on both sides of the highway which would total 100K mi of bifacial solar fencing. Now imagine the scale of MegaPack to store a great amount of that energy all over the world. It's NUTS.
I want Optimus to be faster, clearly, but what you say isn't necessarily true. Even if bots are only half the speed of a human, they can work 22 hours a day (2 hours off for charging), almost 3 times more than a human. And if they're a quarter the cost of employing a human then two of them may work at the same speed as one human, but they're doing 3 times the work in a day. Either way, they out-perform us by 2 or 3 to 1 at least.
I agree, there are certainly cases where speed is not of essence. Farzad was directly discussing warehouse staging. That is not an area where speed is irrelevant. At least not in any warehouses I’ve seen. I’m sure you can find some where speed and space are unnecessary luxuries. I feel the bot still has more baking to do before it can be applied except to specific cases that you have to go out of your way to identify.
It should be a mystery why you would use the word "insane" so often to describe examples of attempted sanity, but maybe it is the same as the political problem of reducing the negatives to a manageable degree first, ie Reductionist Observation and First Principle reimagining WYSIWYG.

It is not a gimmick. I would buy every single one Tesla makes if the bank will approve me for 10bn. Reason is return on investment will be stratospheric.
I solely believe xAI42x will do 20x after its launch price, the hype is high and its community are not relenting.
Larger wheels reduce torque to the road but increase overall efficiency at speed. Torque is not an issue with electric motors
Bought xAI42x after watching your video, super excited!
The potential of xAI42x is unreal! Excited to see where this goes after watching your video!

They need to be Uptis airless tires for the final version. Will stop the possibility for blowouts
Seems like tele-operation would only be needed for the first use. If you show it what to do once, I’m sure it can remember and do it forever. 🤔
