- This evening I got the Wolfe Ridge Compact Commercial and Conveyor moved and set up at near the big log pile at neighbor Cliff's. These logs were from when we cleared for the pool with a Bobcat E 50 Excavator. Now I will be able to cut, then split right into dump trailer. Then dump at my place and pile up with firewood Bucket on RK 55.

Boy! Am I envious of Mr. Morgan!
I grew up on a farm and if I ever left hitches in the dirt to rust I’d have gotten one large boot applied to where it hurts often ! We had to find a chunk of wood to set it on to keep it clean my “boss” was OCD ! You know ! I can’t imagine where you would find a chunk of wood around there ! Love your family and channel.
That’s the first muddy tool I’ve ever seen at The Morgan’s, nearly fell off my sofa when I saw it 🤣😂
To those that give a "Thumbs down", I am really just curious as to why?
Is it the content, the music, you expecting more "how to", or what.
I think the Outdoors with the Morgans is one of the most refreshing, family oriented, channels that are out there!
I admit that I wonder this same thing about most of the RUclips channels that are out there.
I watch MANY different RUclips channels of all different variety of fare, and I MAYBE gave three "thumbs down" and it was because it was just a real waste of time and not as advertised.
So again, this is just out of curiousity. Not trying to start anything.
And to the Morgans.......KEEP ON KEEPING ON!
Have a day!!!
Lonnie, you don't understand why because your brain doesn't work that way. Neither does mine and it took a while to figure it out. Although very few in numbers some people just hate us, most people that way I think are unhappy with their own lives and think by trying to bring others down will somehow bring them happiness. Unfortunately for them it doesn't work that way. Also I have to block certain people, usually a couple a week, most of their comments get held for review and nobody even sees them. Nasty and Rude comments about me, Melissa even Hunter. I just click click and they gone!. They can never comment again but can leave a thumbs down. Whats funny though is clicking on our video and giving it a thumbs down just gets us more views lol
@@OutdoorsWithTheMorgans I was going to ask the same question; why is anyone giving a thumbs down? What in someone's mind would be a reason to dislike a video like this? You sum it about as well as anyone could.
It's actually .2% by views vs thumbs down. That's incredibly good by YT standards. But yeah other than a few weeks there where I was worried they might be selling out (which turned out to be completely unfounded) I'm not sure what's not to like. Something about the videos is relaxing.
I watched to see the splitter working. Nothing at all.Not worth viewing.
@@roycesouthen1505 The title says "...... *Set Up"*
(which is *exactly* what was shown)
They *set-up* the wood-splitter!!
;-)
I'm not on Facebook or Instagram but would love to see Hunter having a belly laugh moment. It makes me smile just thinking about it. I was talking to my wife yesterday about how special Hunter is. I'll get her to pull up that footage. I'm certain it'll be amazing. Y'all stay warm and have a blessed and safe weekend. Take care.
William Matthews thanks William for the kind comment. I will attach the link to the Facebook video. You don’t need an account to see it.
@@levimorgan18 Thanks Levi for doing that, because I'm in the same boat as William Matthews
@@levimorgan18 Thanks Levi. Have a great day:)
I was just day dreaming...a Melissa Morgan 2020 calendar.
I hardly ever miss a day with you guys! I feel as if I know the whole family! Keep doing what you're doing. It's great!!
Today's date is May 13th, 2021. I'm catching up on all the Older Videos!! It's so nice to see the different Seasons and the way Mike and Melissa's Styles have slightly changed... so much fun!! Thanks Morgans!
Thats a nice setup. Going to be fun watching you use it.
Mike, Smart thinking ! that's what you call working Smarter, Not Harder ... as the Joker said to Bat Man...where do you get All of those Wonderful Toys. Millissa deserves more credit than she gets. She gives So much and ask for so little . a One of a kind woman, yet a girl at Heart !!! and Attractive to Boot !!!
Way to Go Melissa!
God picked you a great partner. Melissa is fantastic.
Melissa had me giggling at the 12:50 mark. Pretending she was toting wood...Maybe it's just me but THAT was funny. Thanks guys. Keep it up!!
I’m glad your signature clap is back. Keep them coming.
The idea has found another advocate, ... Melissa.
WE LOVE "A MAN WITH A PLAN" PLUS A MELISSA. BEHIND EVERY GOOD MAN IS A GREAT WOMAN
Amen
@@Morgansunleashed SO DOES JEAN MY WIFE OF 52 YEARS . KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK
Sooooooo true!
MIKE: Anxious to watch your cutting, splitting, and hauling process. I know it’s work but if you like it, well, a lot of gratification. MELISSA: You do a great job of taking care of yourself. You two have a great piece of property.
Grab a paint marker next time you’re at the hardware store and mark the conveyor tongue positions. That way you won’t have to search for the pin hole. Keep the great videos coming!
Joel Huntress good idea! Thanks for sharing! We all have a touch of spray left in the cans!
You guys work so very well together! Really, you are a model of how a couple can work together and accomplish so much! I am blessed to have that connection with my wife for 25 years! Of course, in every good working relationship, there is one of the couple who serves as the foreman or supervisor.....ehem, I think it was clear who that was in this segment.😂
Good friend, nice job👍🇺🇸
Always a pleasure guys... Please, please make the $1.49 investment & put a bail clip through the hitch coupler lever on all your towables & use those safety chains... If your towing on the road, it is an absolute must, but even around my steep property I always, without exception lock down the coupler lever & hook up the safety chains at ALL times... ( the 1/8" hole above the coupler lever is there for a good reason! )
Okay, that's my rant for the day,
Bill on the Hill... :~)
Man, lots of nice toys
My wife would't be out there doing that but if she was I think we would be arguing. :) So we find other things to do together. Daily walks, watch the Washington Capitals beat the Penguins ....... sometimes. She is not a country girl. She would rather go to the mall which I dread. Great that you guys get out there together.
I don’t have a clue how much wood is there, but insure wish i had it and the wolfridge at my place. I dont think im even close to having enough wood to get me through the winter. Now its hunting season so my cutting and splitting has all but stopped. Yall HAVE A DAY👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Wow! The music rocks!!
can't wait till next summer to watch Melissa enjoying the pool👀
Looks like a plan to cut split and haul Firewood!!👍👊
Great video 👍
Great job on that pool area! Let's get some firewood processed!! Outdoors With The Morgans!!! Yahooo!!!
Hug that women neck Lordy she does work helping
Man what a set up! The proper tools really make the job easier. Good video Morgan’s!
The pool area looks great! Looking forward to seeing all that lumber at neighbor Cliff's house get split. The wife and I have a bet on how many chords it turns out to be. Thank you! God Bless!
Nice how you converted Cliff,s place into a renewable energy processing center...I agree 4...snows inevitable but that grass will grow under it..you threaded the needle nicely around those obstacles and I,m sure Melissa will get into the SWING of things once processing begins
Lots of work ahead for you two. Looks like closer to 5-6 cords from here. Have a great day.
Looks like a good plan.
Nice going there
Hello Morgans . Cant you get a regular to take the wood now for next year and dump it at their house. I know you like doing all this but sure would be nice to "one and done" this pile. Cant wait to see you hammer this pile though . Good luck.
Thanks for the tip. The Instagram video with Hunter laughing was great.
I’ll be splitting this weekend for sure. I have a few guys coming over with a couple splitters and wagons. Hoping to get 3 or 4 cords. I saw hunter laughing on Instagram this morning. Loved it.
Quick hitches are time savers...love mine
She is adorable
Cnnot wait to see how quick you clean that up !!!!! Hello to Hunter !!!
Hi Mike, love the shirt
Mike with all your attachments you should really look into a quick hitch for The RK 37 & 55 you just throw two levers drop your top link down and you're good to go. Just a suggestion.
I just always put a trailer hitch ball on my draw bar. I had a 1 7/8 on one side of the bar and a 2” on the other side of center of the bar. That covered most of my trailers. I could also wrap a chain around them and drag wood. A draw bar is indispensable around a farm.
Hunter's laughter made my morning. I think there's 4 cords at Cliff's.
Put a hole in the front bucket of the tractor to put a ball in. It is easier to see and maneuver equipment into place. Don't get hurt wrestling equipment. ✌
We call the change to better weather "an Indian Summer" which is short lived before the storm.
Thanks Hunter! You made me laugh too!
Mike you should do a video on your fuelling routine. Do you use jerry cans, tank in your truck or do you get bulk delivery?
He showed it a while back. Not sure if it's still the same. He had a square fuel tank he'd load with the RK55 into the pickup and fill up at the fuel station.
Firewood heats you several times. Cutting, loading, unloading, splitting and burning
Joe's Firewood Videos II hi joe any new videos posted yet??
First workouts I ever got. Hauling firewood to my dad's truck.
you forgot stacking, loading, unloading ... at least, that is if you take it off the pile directly to the stove.
Joe's Firewood Videos II Joe, you haven’t got time to watch these videos, you’ve got to much to do 🤣😂👍🍻
Y’all have a great looking property! I love videos about firewood.
Do you get any real strong winds around your area? I would think that with the conveyor sticking up in the air might cause some problems in very strong winds. We have been getting some very strong winds here since last night. Some gusts have been hitting 45 mph and have caused my mobile home to rock a little bit. So far, have been pretty lucky in that it hasn't blown down my metal pipe wood stove chimney or caused any other problems. One good thing is that I think the wind has removed the rest of the black walnuts from my 3 trees and I can finish cleaning them all up.
I hate to disagree with you Mike, but I would guess 7-9 cords in that pile. I learned from a rental yard worker that when moving a splitter (like your old one) by hand, it is easier to do if you leave the piston extended. It's more balanced. Not sure if that would apply to the larger Wolf Ridge splitter, but it might be worth a try. Melissa: keep being you, you're very funny!
Sweet well thought out process. Have similar set up myself. Filled 31 cages just like what you have. I have an Outdoor central boiler and go thru 24 to 28 cages a winter, so I always like to have a little cushion with 30 or so.
@@Morgansunleashed I have a log stand with conveyor rollers to table where logs sit after cut, then to splitter right beside, to toss and stack in cage, then use tractor to place in wood shed next to boiler.
Great job Morgan's.
Yes just about the 3-4 cords you said, a lot of small trees there.
Good morning!
HELLO, from chihuahua mexico, God bless you and your family, thank you for sharing the video, please say hello to hunter.
I am guessing 2 1/2 cords. watch your footing around the rounds as you cut. This is what I have been cutting out of stacks of logs. Ron
The landscaping ended up very nice!
Hello Tinman7t7 in Sioux city Iowa. Bet u have 5 or 6 cord there quit a bit of big stuff You have a nice setup enjoy your videos
This guy is the luckiest guy on 2 feet....I use to think it was because if his tractors....but holy crap the girl who is helping him...that's a lucky guy...
NICE FORM
Happy Birthday Mike!!🎂🎈🎊 3.67 cords of firewood!
Digging your music selections Mike. Good work.
Great set up that should work . Got to be at least 3 cords. Yeah !! Chainsaw , splitter, tractor, trailer.
You need to put a hitch in the back of the conveyor for the splitter. For short trips it would save time.
We’re getting the summer pre test here in Sydney Australia. A couple of hot days just to test us. It’s all in reverse here compared to you.
Hi When you we're on the swing you looked over and I swear I saw Eva .thanks for sharing another day at the Morgan's 👍🇨🇦 Craig
Share!
Were you into the outdoors at her age?
I think you are spot on at 4 cords. I would give myself a little wiggle room and say 3-5 cords. 😁👍
Love you guys!! Got my new RK37!! Can't wait to use it this weekend!!! Keep it coming!!@
4 cords. Good video gotta love fall
Wish I could get my daughter to help me as much as yours does.
6.5 cords is my guess, We are getting colder days in Michigan too. Good team work getting all the equipment over to Cliffs and setup. :)
Have you ever considered going into the landscape business. You did a great job around the pool house and pool. It's finally gotten cooler here in Alabama, for now. Probably won't last too long, but it's football weather to me.
Hey you folks, good video. Sure hope to see that video of Hunter sometime on here. Lot’s of us that can’t, don’t and won’t do the other things on line will surely miss a good video. Keep up the good work and videos, we appreciate you sharing with us.
Thanks SO much.
That is nice set up for spitting woods
Mike, when you hooked up to the tractor, I thought you might hook up the splitter first, and with another reciever ball, hook the conveyor to the splitter, that way you did it all in one trip. . but then again the conveyor may out weigh the splitter enough to make it go airborn, just an idea. try and see if it works.... I dare ya too
Is the Morgan's leaf game strong? Do you guys have any equipment for picking then up?
enough toys for mike melissa deserves her own pool
Love the snow camo 👍
Cold at 48 ????? That's nice working weather Mike. Heading out to do some cutting and splitting. Have to agree with JC, looks like 3 1/2 cords
Somebody should've had all that set up would've save you a lot of time lol you guy's make a great team
Melissa is strong!
Nice.😆
I love being right. So my guess is there are several cords.
Getting caught up on the videos. You and your neighbor did some nice work around that pool. The "green reusable resource processing setup" is also nice.
GOOD MUSIC
Mike/Melissa - the tongue on that splitter switches to the back so it can be pulled from the other end. No need to risk fingers wrestling it in position! For your purposes (all off road) you ought to use it from the other end all the time
Mike, just stay out of the way. Melissa's got this!
Thank you for doing what I dream I wish I could do. Not in the best of health any more enjoy all of your videos . So please don't stop LOL
One Step Firewood Would Be Nice
Ah just checked Hunter out ☺️😆 bless him xxx
I think three cords in pile of logs at neighbor Cliffs house.
Mike can you arrange things so that you can pull the splitter with from the engine side with something, then put a hitch insert in the opposite end, and hook the conveyor to that? Kinda like pulling double trailers? Then things would be oriented how they would need to be for use..
Yes you can do that I think, haven't tried it yet but there are receivers at both ends
Don't forget those safety chains, they work on the tractor/RV as well as the truck. I've never had anything come unhooked from the truck but I've had serval things come unhook from the tractor! Don't you love fall!!
OneTouch for you guys, I don't have all that equipment, but good video thanks for sharing
Please tell me who's that singing on the video! - so soulful
Maybe Cliff will want to help with the wood too. How is the new grandson doing?
Only my Grandma ever called me Walter. You can call me Wally too. I wouldn’t expect you to know that though.
Hunter made my day on FB yesterday ! Love it!
What an awesome set up.....We are not ready ready for winter but if we didn't have it, what would we do with ALL that wood ??
Be safe out there and God Bless :)
