Mulkey made little to no adjustments whatsoever. Iowa coach Lisa Bluder out coached Mulkey, but Mulkey have to take the blame for this.
Iowa #3, Sydney Affolter has been a surprise this year. Bluder started to use her more, and man, she has been a spark.
What floored me was when Bluder put O’Grady in for Stuelke. O’Grady, to me, wasn’t in there to rebound…her job was to block out Angel.
Stuelke does get into foul trouble early in games. It’s a weakness that has to be addressed, since he’s a sophomore.
Van Lith got cooked by Clark…again. Clark cooked her last year in the Elite Eight.
For Mulkey not to make those adjustments is not just stunning…it’s dumb ass coaching.

Van Lith cost them big. Coach cost them more. If you have a deficiency for a matchup you have to coach and that didn’t happen. Tbh the powers that be may have said we need Caitlyn winning today. They needed flaujae and if not mix coverage and throw in some blitz. She had Lith single coverage as the teams worst defender.
Too bad Angel got hurt she may have got 30 rebounds if she was healthy. That ankle forced her to take some bad jumpers and pick her spots too carefully
