I love this. However, I would really like to see more companies prioritize the quality of their prints. I can not even begin to talk about how many of my customers have made comments about how they can hardly see the layer lines, and what an improvement [aesthetically] my parts are. Of course, I never skip out on dimensional tolerance or the function of the parts either. It is possible to have both form and function with 3d printers.
It's a great way to solve the problem in this case! And as you say, it's possible to have both. But for a small company you might have to compromise if you're running 1-3 printers and have hundreds of 3-6 hour prints to deliver fast :P
@ThisisDD never, never, never. Especially something that is customer facing. I still wouldn't, but I'd understand a lot more if it was inside the machine. That being said, nope, never. No way would I sell a part that looked like that.

Big same
I would never put my name on that repair part for the coffee machine.

So true, it always feels like I'm the only one that cares about my print quality.
Haven't watched yet, but I usually slow down the outer walls to improve my print quality
Yep, and print outer walls first.
