Bengali drapping - where we don't have the front pleats near the waist. Earlier days women used to wear it like that so that is easier to move around and do household chores. And houses were also big. Also instead of safety pins, they will have the key bunch (having all the important keys of the house.) attached to their pallu. Jiske pass key bunch tha woh ghar ki auroto mein se sabse powerful ya elder thi.
