I'm 1000% going for Primal Groudon, it's large, epic, and it's shiny is amazing. Omega Ruby was also my third poker on game ever so yeah, I even nicknamed my fish Primal after the primals.
Shiny Groudon using perish song was a genius play as with the heart swap primal used against it, it got -1 speed from the toxic thread earlier on in the battle. That would mean if it survived until perish song ended, it would have been the last one on the field making the groudon team win.

why? all they did was make the black markings expand and fill with lava, make his underside and spikes black and make him a bit bigger. the differences are quite minuscule. if you wanted an overdesigned pokemon look at mega steelix or the kyurem forms
I kinda think the Metronome battle should have been a tie imo, or gone to the team that set up the perish song because they didn't die to a direct attack.
I think because kyorge had been better for so long gamefreak overcompensated a bit with primal groudon he should be hit by water attacks but perhaps just neutrally to give him a fighting chance....
With regular groudon drought ability it can take care of all three of its weakness with only 2 moves flamethrower to take care of the grass and ice weakness and solarbeam for the water weakness the primal groudon can take care of its ground weakness with a solarbeam so if you dont outspeed it its over for you love the shiny primal

I like normal Groudon because it has an item slot and a simple design Edit:Also I usually don't like overrated pokemon (not really overrated it is really good in competitive battling but just so many people prefer it over Groudon)
