I feel like this is the side Hobi has been keeping inside himself for the past 2 years. Since the pandemic they’ve been releasing more happy, positive songs, but now J-Hope is releasing everything’s he’s been holding in to show what he’s capable of.

Meaning that whatever he does he is bound to succeed. 2:27 he is referring to "Salvador Dali", a famous painter who is known for having a variety of artistic styles and surrealism paintings (He is the painter of " the persistence of memory", better known as the melting clock painting) and the x-ray scene resonates so much with Dali's "Dancer-Skull" painting which was completed in 1932. if you see the painting you see the reference, it was so brilliant! (Dali) here, also actually has a very cool double meaning. Hoseok is one of the most versatile artists! I've always thought he has such a unique way of rapping like his voice is so unique and the way he goes with the flow ??!?? He's amazing. The black ear thingies are supposed to be an X-Ray equipment but doubling as a clown headgear. That amazing reaction from 1:49 to 1:59 was my exact reaction as well. It's like "no way, but YES it makes perfect sense!." Who'd have thought, right? J-HOPE in the rap metal genre! He has the voice for it, and could get better and better, look at his range! His melodic rapping, too, is ripe for this genre! This song sent me on a rap-metal spiral, and now, I'm back in my late teens and early 20s in mosh pits crushing over Fred Durst, Chester Bennington, Papa Roach, and Korn.

Just my thoughts, but the key is literally the key to "more". However, what "more" is exactly, I couldn't even guess. Also, another reactor that I watch believes that a lot of the visuals in this MV are references to the movie "Fight Club". The band isn't zombies, those are acid burns. I've never seen Fight Club, but it's one of the reactor's favorite movies and he saw references in nearly every scene.

I think it’s really interesting that jhope originally chose his name because when pandora opened the box, the last thing in it was hope and he wanted to be that hope for others. And now his first solo album is jack in the box, and the music video all takes place in a box. Almost like he’s representing the other things that were in Pandora’s box.
