    It’s always useful having these types videos to watch being a new driver! I finally passed 2 weeks ago and even now I’m still very cautious of my surroundings and being aware of potential hazards! Since driving on my own I am nervous sometimes only because I’ve had someone next to me for so long before passing since lockdown etc. Thank you for these videos they really are helpful 😊

      Take care Katie. The fact you are watching this video shows that you care about your driving unlike many on the road which is a good indicator that you'll be sensible.

    Should have mentioned that if you been out drinking , especially heavily, then even after you wake up you should allow 24 hours before you drive again.
    This is because a lot think that having a sleep will make legal to drive.

      Yes indeed. If you drank beer at 00:05 and then drove to work at 08:05 you still technically drank ‘today’. And no matter slept or not or how much and what did you drink - if there’s still too much alcohol in your blood, urine or air you exhale, even 1%% more, legally you’re ‘under influence’. Get caught once for drink driving and you’ll never ever be able to apply for NHS driver or many other similar roles. It’ll be in the system forever.

    It was a hazy morning. I couldn't see the median and still got into the right lane because, at the time, I was playing GTA V a lot. I could see headlights of the oncoming traffic- it was only 1 or maybe 2 cars at max, but in my mind, hundreds of them all annoyed at me; I started panicking and sweating bullets. I reversed the hell out of the lane, but turned too quickly. Some people were looking as if a major accident had occurred. Thankfully, I only managed to disfigure my bumper a little. My next accident was also when I was reversing. 🤦🏻‍♂️
    Also, driving is prohibited if you take certain medicines. Consult your doctor!

      Not really - but it could damage your car.

      @@AdvanceDrivingSchool But is it counting as a dangerous fault ?

    • @AdvanceDrivingSchool
      @AdvanceDrivingSchool  2 года назад +1

      That depends on how hard you hit the kerb. A light brush might only be a minor / driving fault - but a harder hit would be probably marked as serious as it would cause more danger.
