Since I've seen a Lot of people say the Ending sounds like My time, Allow me to give more context to this-
If you've listened to the Full and unedited versions, That ending tune is a Melody that ties most of the songs together. Its the Intro song of the album, its tune is Quickly placed in a Certain part of Be Okay, And is Also at the ending of My Time. In the version of my time I've commonly listened to (i use apple music for my music and I hear it there) after a long period of silence, This melody will play and last a Bit. Its one of the Main things tying the songs together other than the album itself.
You actually hear the melody from the End of my time begin At the end of this song, However, it gets cut off in the video as the more- how should I put it- Pixely Audio(?) Begins to fade into a More Orchestrated melody.

discovered Bo en like 4 years ago when Sometimes was recommended to me and immediately got hooked. I'm glad as hell that people are discovering Bo en now because he damn deserves the recognition.

I've seen a lot of people analyzing this song, saying it's about Bo En finding someone to care for, maybe a wife, maybe even kids, and that he realizes even that doesn't truly cure his depression. However, I think people are taking it much too literally- I mean this is literally the song whose namesake is shared with the album, there's definitely some deeper meaning here. I have an alternative theory.
I think that everything leading up to 1:50 is Bo En showing signs of toxic positivity. He doesn't _actually_ feel better, he's pretending to, and there's some worrying lyrics that really push that idea for me. "I'm feeling good let's say my emptiness has gone away", the "let's say" there is important. From the start he's actually not confident he's feeling better. Then later on at 0:55, there's a focus on perfection, especially "perfect every time". And right at 1:25, he straight up asks, "Will you lead me straight to paradise?" he's questioning it, he's desperate that what he's doing should bring him happiness.
And then at 1:50, it's clear it doesn't. The tone of the song changes from simple and happy, to fast paced and complicated (a somewhat similar style to My Time), and Bo En straight up breaks down, lamenting his loneliness. Then right after that short breakdown- Bo En acts like everything is ok. "I'm born anew". And the Japanese lyrics translate to, "Baby look, Mama is full". Again I don't think that's literal, I think that's a metaphor for Bo En saying he's had his fill of being depressed, trying to convince himself that breakdown won't happen again. And right after? The song goes back into that confused and complicated feeling, showing that no, Bo En isn't okay.
But then, what _is_ Bo En caring for, that he's trying to use to maintain that illusion that he's alright? I don't believe it's an actual person, after all during the breakdown at 1:50 Bo En literally sings, "I'm lonely". During that breakdown he both calls himself a pale machine, but also says he's with a pale machine. What I think Bo En is doing is distracting himself with work. From his job to busywork, he's only trying to distract himself from his depression. After the first breakdown, at 2:18 he says, "My fingers push the buttons, thoughts come through", which I think is referring to how he's only trying to think through his job. That's why he's not getting better, he's ignoring his problems and pretending everything's ok, while keeping himself busy as to not break that illusion. He's "living like a dream".
That also adds more to the line "show me how to live" in the second verse, he's gone so far as to seek validation from his job, to think that it's the only way to live. The autotuned Japanese lyrics at 0:55 also add onto this, saying his life is "Like clockwork". It's so "perfect" because he's doing his work as perfect as he can, focusing on doing his job better and better to distract himself more.
But again, none of that works. Once he comes home, once he can't work for the day, he just breaks down again. His intrusive thoughts creep back in, and on top of that, they question his coping mechanism. That's why he finally talks about feeling like a pale machine, he doesn't feel human. He only ends up feeling drained and empty at the end of the day, like a pale machine. He's disillusioned during this breakdown, realizing that his "life is just OK out here", even adding, "anyone can see", saying that he's really not even fooling himself into feeling happy.
It's really tragic, it's like this song is his last stand trying to deal with his depression, and it just ends up being an unhealthy coping mechanism that doesn't solve anything. What's even more tragic, is the motif at the end that leads into My Time. To put it simply, My Time is about Bo En just giving up trying to solve his problems, feeling too tired to, and just going to sleep. It serves as the final song that basically says everything was in vain. So when it comes in at the end of this song, it's showing how Bo En's finally starting to realize his toxic positivity isn't helping, but also showing that he's losing the strength to keep trying.

I was listening to this while sleeping and had this weird dream about this guy who has a robot as a skeleton and they're both conscious trying to live as one being. They try their best to act human but since neither the guy or the robot are human they can't. Of course people notice and, not knowing, cast them out despite them trying their hardest. So they sit alone doing nothing because they don't know what they should do. They can't think straight because of their conflicting nature. They can't even feel. They can't feel any emotion. Suddenly, all they want is to feel. They want to know what happiness and anger feel like. They want to know what it feels like to burn their finger or bleed- anything. They desperately try any and everything, clawing out to anything in hopes of accomplishing their goal. It doesn't happen though and in the process they ended up damaging their body to the point where they couldn't even move. So they just sat there alone. They wanted to be somewhere or with someone so bad but they couldn't. They wanted something but only had nothing. A tear rolls down their cheek and the realization hits them. They're sad. They're lonely. They finally feel something - pain. They look up at the sky and smile the happiest smile physically possible because for once in their existence they felt a feeling. They felt human. They stayed there in pain and content until they eventually died.
After that I woke up.

STORY TIME:
There was once a little girl who lived by routine. She woke up, got dressed, brushed her teeth, and greeted her mother and father.
However, the mother and father haven't responded to her for over a year. Not that the little girl minded, but she always grew worried since they always seemed less happier than normal.
But that wasn't her only worry.
For some reason, there was always a tall hooded figure that stood outside of the window.. Watching her.
Following the young child to school.
But it always tried to touch her when she walked across this one particular street.
This went on until finally the little gitl, who was at the park alone, snapped.
"*Why are you always following me? Are you the reason for my parents sadness?*"
The figure sighed sadly.
"**No my dear child. I'm here for you. The street you walk across constantly was the place you were killed by a speeding car.**"
This made the young girl pause.
"*K-Killed? But.. But how am I still here?*"
"*Because you can't accept the fact that you died.*"
The figure walked up to the young girl and put its hand on her shoulder.
"*Look, I know its hard to take in.. But don't worry. You won't be alone.*"
However the little girl began sobbing, trying to wipe her tears away. She couldn't leave; she just couldn't leave her sad parents behind. Deciding to give her some time the figure left her alone for a bit, having a feeling she needed to be by herself.
But as the girl cried, she heard something that made her stop.
"Nii-san?"
The girl looked back, shocked at the sight of her parents standing there.
"*M-Mommy? Daddy?*"
The two parents didn't say anything; they just walked up and hugged her tightly.
"**Time to go.**" The figure then said, leading them down the now densly fogged street.
And with that they walked down the street, the little girl not noticing the deep slits on her mother's wrists nor the large hole in the back of her father's head.
But they didn't care.
As long as they were together, it really didn't matter.

Lately I've been struggling with my emotions and trying to keep it all in, plus I have to deal with the pressure of hiding so many secrets and having a mother who has unrealistically high expectations of me and wants me to be perfect and always positive. This song's just the embodiment of that.

the first half of the song is positive like the earlier songs in the album, but seems to be running out of energy and it needs to rely on comfort instead of happiness to stay positive. the singer also sounds tired, like the singer is lying to himself (most noticable at 1:35) to keep enough energy, but its clearly not enough from how much he relies on someone for love. after the singer acknowledges how tired he feels at 1:53, the soft melody gets a harder beat but its not enough to ruin the positive vibe. not sure what the offputting drop at 3:03 could represent, if anything but I think its most likely a breakup of some kind. either way its not long enough to ruin the song's overall comfy feel, but is dark enough to make a memorable 'everything is ok now' moment at 3:41.
I dont know much about music theory, just thought I'd try to find some themes.
It was great. I see it as a dude deluding himself, like they have done times before, about still being with who gave meaning to their life, until they crack, and just want to go to sleep after the fallout. WHich immediately leads to My Time, if you want to believe that. Thematic relations to the other songs in the album, of suddenly being alone, and your Valentine suddenly melting

I think people miss out the fact that 3:04 contains samples of Yoshi voice clips.
Defining what actions they belonged to shouldn't be difficult to remember. One sample is for when Yoshi jumps. The other sample is for when you throw an egg.
Interpret it like this. The eggs you throw are the negative emotions you're trying to get rid of. That's the whole meaning of this song, you try to be happy with the "perfect" life you have but you still feel the horrid emptiness every time you live it out. The jumping is pretty much you trying to get out of that pit of emptiness, but no matter how many attempts you try, you're still stuck suffering from it. Even when you try and throw away those "eggs" or try and jump out of there, it's still there because your life is slowly becoming a problem to you as it's the same thing over and over again.
Yoshi isn't supposed to be a character signifying the turmoil here. He's typically the happy go lucky dinosaur who rescued two baby plumbers from a Magikoopa who wanted the Koopa family legacy to stay alive, but his actions throughout many of the games that he is in say enough about what the meaning of this song truly is.
Throwing eggs, and jumping. It's enough to represent how it feels being in a happy life while still dealing with your own mind imperfections.

This song really resonates with me because I use the internet as an escapism mechanism and basically a way to talk to the only people I feel comfortable talking to. I pretend that the only way I can be happy is by using the internet and hiding behind a screen and not going out and talking to real people. I pretend it's the thing that makes me the happiest when really my lifestyle doesn't bring me much joy at all. I'm pale and my eating habits have failed me. Luckily, I've realized this and am making an effort to be more social and go outside more often. I'm even really close to getting a job. This song and whole album really gives me a chance to consider how my life looks and how I can improve.
