    People will complain about ANYTHING. This version is different but it’s amazing, it’s obvious that they’d have to reinvent the songs in certain way now that Tilian is gone because *shocking news* Andrew isn’t Tilian and they have different voices and ranges. The live version being different doesn’t make it bad, you can’t honestly try to compare. Just enjoy the music and open your minds for god’s sake. It’s like having the multiverse of songs and it’s exciting to listen to reimagined versions of the songs, same with the Jonny and Kurt ones.

    No idea what everyone is talking about in these comments. Andrew sounds incredible and it’s definitely not a tilian backtrack. Honestly if anything Jon sounds a bit rough here. But if you’ve watched other videos from this tour, Andrew sounds incredible.

      I honestly think some people have forgotten how off Tilian would be live on his own songs, let alone other albums. He did a better job on this than Tilian performances I’ve seen. Was never impressed with his ability to match album versions.

      @@Debaser666 It's just a matter of opinion. You legitmately think he sounded better and that's valid. We just don't and that's also valid. I could dozens of DGD Tilian era live videos where he did not project well at all. Andrew had more to prove and got a lot closer to hitting Craig's and Tilian's notes than probably most would have imagined and that's pretty impressive. He's at the least not pitchy which is Tilian struggles with a lot live.

      @@elliot6704 Videos aren’t the same as a live performance and I’ll give it that I haven’t seen Andrew perform live yet but it just isn’t it. Ever time I saw them live with Tilian fronting it was an experience and even ignoring live stuff the songs they released since dropping Tilian sound like shit compared to anything on JJ or before.

      They don’t think we can tell there’s a backing track with the real vocal and Andrew’s just doing karaoke over it

      @@HeavyShowsNYC I do think the backing tracks are also Andrew though. Still disappointing that he's not aiming for all the high notes, but it doesn't sound like they're just overlaying Tilian's tracks.

      @@HeavyShowsNYC It's andrew's voice on the backing track, if he tried to go that high every night he risks his vocal health.

    Dropping Tilian was easily the biggest mistake this band has ever made. The guy helped them define their sound and without him the will not course correct for a while. You may as well retire any song Tilian sang on because Andrew will never be able to hit the same range.

    • @Debaser666
      @Debaser666 13 дней назад

      Let me also state that dropping a band member is not a crime. Both personal and creative differences are valid reasons to go your separate ways. However I am utterly embarrassed for them after trying to make fun of Tilian with their recent music videos and calling his a wife a little fan girl. It’s sad. Very shitty way to say goodbye to someone who truly defined and amplified their sound for so long.

    • @soapygirraph
      @soapygirraph 9 дней назад +1

      The key thing is realizing the band has never had a “defined” sound. They’ve broken genre barriers multiple times through different singers. The sucky part is Andrew doesn’t have a massive list of material to go through that fits his style especially with the band blowing up during its mothership album. It’s nice knowing he’s able to do most of JCs songs pretty well but Kurt’s and Tilians are going to be insanely hard to pull off live.

    • @Debaser666
      @Debaser666 9 дней назад

      @@soapygirraph yes honestly they need another real singer.
      What I mean by defined sound is the sound that really blew up and in my opinion put them in the forefront of the genre. I don’t think their sound was ever super defined before Tilian but I would argue that is has been since and without him it will feel shallow.
