Ive been excitingly waiting for your review since i saw your post on reddit. And it did not disappoint. Thank you! I'm a monster high collector but I have to have her. She's so gorgeously weird. I love it.
Thanks so much for the positive feedback :) I defo recommend her for Monster high collectors, she looks like she'd be a good fit in that doll universe x hugs
Yes, these are a very weird but very interesting part of Mattel doll history.... designed to capitalize on the huge popularity of Jim Henson's Muppets at the time. Interesting to note that the shoes, jewellery and accessories were all repurposed from Barbie's line at the time. The 'diamond' jewellery and those strappy sandals (I'm glad you didn't snap off those inset straps and figured out how to put them on her feet properly!) were originally Superstar Barbie's from 1976 and came with lots of Barbie dolls throughout the late 70's. (In fact, there are some collectors that acquire these dolls specifically for their shoes and jewellery to use with their 70's Barbies!) That textured silver dress fabric was also used in a few Barbie doll outfits by Mattel in the 70's, and the brush/comb/vanity accessories were also used for several other Barbie sets, like for Beauty Secrets Barbie who was produced that same year, (though she didn't have a sticker picture of a horsey boyfriend on that vanity, of course! LOL)
Thanks for sharing this info! 🙂 That's pretty interesting, so they sorta recycled pieces from Barbies of that time, cool. Oh god, how on earth I initially thought the heels straps might of been to snap off, 😳🫣 i'll never live that one down! ahaha 😂😂 hugs x
Hi, I got mine on ebay by typing "mattel gorgeous creatures dolls" but i've also seen some photos of ads for these being sold on the website Etsy, so i'd recommend mostly those 2 websites. Best of luck :)

I had the whole set of these when they came out (I was 12). This one’s dress wasn’t very well made, but all the others have really lovely outfits.

I love the way you describe things
Tysm! 🙂💛
The bit you put her foor through is supposed to be the heel strap, and the side sticky-out bits are the 'buckle' to fasten over the top of the foot.
Thanks :) finally figured it out yesterday haha
How do I get one?
