Right to health

What is the right to health? Animated video to understand what the right to health for all people and how this can not be guaranteed if other rights are not protected such as access to healthy food, education, decent work, adequate housing, social and political participation ... as much or more important than being able to access medical services and medicines.

Right to health is an absurd concept, if a person is sickly their rights have not been violated unless another person has caused them harm. In that case the persons right to be secure in their person has been violated not a right to health.

the right to health states that a person has a right to medical healthcare, it being violated is not because they are sick but because they may not be receiving the proper care. if someone were to refuse you medical care because of your skin color, sexuality, gender or anything else it would be a violation of your right to health

@@ty7e Where can I find the right to healthcare so I can see for myself that it states "a person has a right to medical healthcare". The reasons you listed that a person may be denied healthcare is a violation of the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment, not of some imagined right to healthcare. As long as citizens are given an equal opportunity to services there isn't any violation of a persons rights. As long as you can pay for medical care you will be able to find a doctor that will sell those services to you.

@@opossumlvr1023 no you won't, there have been multiple occasions on which people have died because a doctor has refused to give their service to someone because of whatever reason, the video literally states what I said in my comment

@@ty7e You literally repeating what was stated in the video proves nothing as repetition does not create truth. There are many reasons that a doctor should be able to refuse service to someone. Healthcare cannot be a right as it is a service that requires a persons time and expertise and no person has a right to another persons time and expertise. If this right existed then people would have the right to own slaves.
