      We live in a Wildlife Refuge territory, so hunting is prohibited and I have no idea what the taste is like. However the hawks around here know very well, LOL. I have seen them in the frozen section of the grocery food supermarkets, but I have never tried them.

    In Korea, chicks were born by natural incubation of quail in an artificial cage.It's even more wonderful to see quails in nature.

    Just a suggestion, when placing water out for the Quail place the water on a plate... and they'll drink it. They won't drink the water from a bowl

      They are only in inland suburban areas, typically in places with thick bushes so they can safely nest and lay eggs. I lived for 20 years in Clairmont and I never saw them there, as soon as I moved to Spring Valley I see them all the time.

      @@knowledgesource101 quail are much less noisier and take less space. I know people keep them in their appartments without the neighbours finding out. Only males crow, and their call isn't even that bad, but you dont need males for eggs.

    What no Purina game bird chow, that's what they're supposed to be fed! Not bird seed!😠

    • @knowledgesource101
      @knowledgesource101  Год назад

      They actually feed off the normal Wild Bird Seeds which contains a variety of different high nutrient seeds. The Purina that you are talking about is for farm raised Quails not wild Quails.
