Glorified church potluck? Beef brisket is always good. We'd probably only choose to go in a pinch if other options were too busy. But it's a good option to have available.

The sausage dogs from Fanny Farkles Arcade in Gatlinburg is my #1 go to when I visit!! Apple cider and apple fritters from the Apple barn and restaurant, not the grill, and chocolates from the Ole Smoky Mountain chocolate factory!! Plus the food is amazing, especially the soup, from the Dixie Stampede! *Im from the area, it’s always going to be Dixie to me respectively. I have love for all the people in the past. You try to erase the bad, you forget the victims that need to be remembered. Just imho.

I think it’s tailored to larger families to feed the kids etc a lot of food for cheap, I can see what they were going for as an alternative to grannies as some people might not feel comfortable asking a server for another plate of food and possibly feeling judged.

If you love okra, you’d love my shrimp and crab gumbo. I was raised and lived on the Gulf Coast and make the gumbo Cajun style taught to my mom then to me by my French aunt. It’s delicious!!! Our very favorite. Wish you could have some. ❤

That looks significantly better than your previous trip to that buffet and looks like someplace I would go out of my way for now. I'd probably have a plate loaded with the potatoes, green beans, brisket & pork. Heck, I think I'd even go to town on all those hot dogs! I do wish the spinach & artichoke "dip" didn't have mushrooms as I'm allergic to them and LOVE a good spinach & artichoke dip, but I guess I'm not a good spore. (ba dum-dum)
I think I'd still come out ahead on price at this buffet for my son with all the hot dogs, mac & cheese and ice cream cups he'd go through.

I love the bloopers. It would be a hard decision for me as to whether I would eat that buffet or go to Aunt Granny's. We ate at that other buffet when we were there a few years ago but I can't remember what it is called. Ogle something, I think.
I'll pass on the mushrooms! I'm hungry now for some BBQ chicken and 🌽 on the cob! Everything looked so good.

Love the channel and the chicken looked really good but I would pass on the buffet. I have to have spit guards and actual warming stations but I will say it looked clean so that is a win all way around.

Have y’all heard of mamas farm house I ate there it’s in pigeon Forge on pickle street lol but they have such good food there I love pigeon forge and Dollywood it’s so lovely there me and my mom use to just ride up there and back just to get out and drive for a road trip and it was so much fun she recently passed away so I don’t think I’ll be going for a while

I'm surprised you all had never heard of succotash! Generally it is made up of Lima beans and corn. I grew up on it in Ohio, but I always heard it was a southern dish. The buffet is not what I would have chosen to eat at Dollywood, but mainly because I wouldn't want a heavy meal like that while at the park. Thanks for your reviews, always look forward to them.

Question...At Aunt Granny's since you only get one dessert choice, can you get as much of that one choice as you want? And I love your videos. And I appreciate that you pray before meals!!

@@AdventureIsOutThere So just to clarify, at Aunt Granny's buffet you only get to choose one dessert item and get only one serving. At the Celebration buffet, you can choose any or all of the dessert items and eat as many servings as you like. Right? Do you ever meet up with fans of your channel and eat a meal with them at Dollywood?

We are going to Dollywood for the first time Memorial Day weekend. Would you suggest buying the Festival tasting pass or eating at Granny’s?
I’m not a huge fan of buffets. For me a regular entree is usually more than enough. Those icecream cups were missing the wooden spoons they always came with😋

Everything looks unappetizing, pork still looks dried out, cookies & brownies are dry, succotash is watery, looks mushy, they are not replenishing the food.
Low quality food for high prices that's why noone is eating there.

For that price you should be able to get as much of ANY dessert that you want. Just another reason why I don’t care for Dollywood. The entire place is over hyped and over priced.

What do you compare it to? In real life your asking actual me? Yes! Well when we were always married because of Dollywood being it’s own city we had Casinos attached to the hotels, the buffets were ALWAYS packed year around because they were open even when the park wasn’t…. You’re shutting me! No, I’m a Pope that laws don’t apply to so when it’s a City state, reg. City and state laws don’t apply, so we just copied Las Vegas Laws because we are dumb hillbilly’s!

She has always had wigs even when young. I took of tour of Nashville and saw dollys big house and there was a little house where her friend lived and took care of all of her wigs!
