How to teach place part 2

In this video I show you a second session of the place command with a young Golden Retriever puppy. I use her portion of her daily kibble. You can train your dog with their daily kibble and mix in some high value rewards for behaviors you really want to emphasize on early on. I begin doing some distraction work using myself as the moving distraction or target. The dog is wearing a 2.25 mm hermes Sprenger prong collar. The first session was on a martingale. I like to introduce pressure softly to puppies. She knows what pressure on her neck since she has been pulling on leash for so long but, for training and rewards I want to make their experience as positive as possible and reinforce good behaviors. Teaching with pressure will allow me to simulate and pair it with the remote collar. I teach with high quality remote collars. I build a foundation and easy to understand language to prevent and help solve behavioral issues in dogs. This isn't the training for everyone but, it really has been a blessing to many people.
