In this video, I made an abstract painting on a 80x80cm canvas.
As paint, I used acrylic paint for the background and for the shadows.
I also used spray paint for the central part.
As tools, I used several types of brushes, stencils and thin masking tape.

It's always amazing seeing what you've come up with. My daughter and I have been watching since you only spoke French at first, your English has gotten great!! I love watching people change and learn new stuff. Now if only I could learn French as quickly as you learned English! 🤔 Anytime you paint it's gorgeous, then you cover it up with more paint, and we're like "Noooooo!" But then in the end, we see the plan come together, and then we get it. So beautiful. Can't wait to see what is next!

What if you started with all the mismash of colours in areas you want to place the tape then then continue the painting then remove the tape, that should also been spectacular. Thanks for sharing, nice work. 🇨🇦

John, sincerely thank you for sharing your art! I have been struggling with motivation and other stuff since my best friend died in april. But since finding your channel about 2-3 weeks ago, I have been watching several of your videos every day. Your art pieces as well as the sound and video editing on your videos is just amazing.
You inspired me to get back into canvas painting, and for the last week or so I have been having so much fun working on abstract pieces and learning/trying out new techniques.
So once again, than you for sharing your work. It made me find my happy place once again when it comes to my own art, and your work is truly inspiring and motivating.
