I'm a Croat, we are people who love singing, I met Samoans, who are also famed for being great singers, and I told them "you know, we can compete with with you pacific Islanders, but the only people who can beat both of us are the Welsh", they smiled and agreed. Welsh are indeed nation of bards and poets.
I'm Australian--born and of Welsh parents and have 72 % Welsh ethnicity. I'm so proud of the 'Aloud ' groups from Wales. This song makes my heart sing ! Well done !
Absolutely wonderful to see some of the young men that were in the original BGT talent show now all grown up, plus many others who have joined the crew. May not understand Welsh language, but having subtitles to read along made it very nice to be able to read along and see how to spell and pronouce the words. Any way we can get a translation to know what it's about without reverting to an online translator? (which we know will NEVER entreat or honor the emotions and feelings of the lyrics correctly)
Yay! I have been waiting for this!! How lovely to see (& hear!) singers from all the groups - Boys & Kids & Girls - as well as (I think) alumni and coaches/directors, all in support of the Welsh World Cup team. May this performance bring them extra luck! Bravo! (from Ohio in the US)
OMG! Ifan, Gareth mae mor dda gweld eich bod chi ac ambell un o’r hen gôr dal yn rhan o OBA. Rwyf wedi bod yn dilyn ers 2012. Pa mor wych Clywed OBA Eto. Dywedodd fy Mam (r.i.p. 11 oed heddiw) wrthyf am eich perfformiad BGT o Calon Lan. Pan o'n i'n hogyn yn y 60au ro'n i mewn côr (6 mlynedd gorau fy mywyd) a buon ni'n canu Calon Lan. Roedd hi wrth ei bodd yn eich clywed yn canu hynny. Dywedodd wrthyf mai'r côr oedd y peth gorau a ddigwyddodd i mi
Hi Robert. As noted in the credits, the video is made up of members of three of Aloud’s choirs - Only Boys Aloud, Aloud Girls and Only Kids Aloud. Some choir leaders and Aloud Alumni have taken part too. I hope that makes things clear.
@@aledevans9538 It does and I am grateful for your reply. OBA was a fantastic idea and it certainly took hold, becoming a point of pride and joy for thoe boys who were participating. Having a group for the girls is also a great idea. After all, they too can sing. Giving these kids a chance to be involved in something to great, so wonderful should be a point of pride for those who make it possible. The boys are wonderful and do a good job of representing the people and songs of Wales.
@@aledevans9538 As stated there is something ethereal about the all boys lineup. There are many options for mixed gender groups. Unfortunately they rarely post content anymore and when they do I would prefer to see the pure all boys group. Just my opinion. Thanks for a civil reply enjoy the holidays 😌

Bendigedig!! You all did awesome. You all work so well together. Sounded great. Can't wait to see what 2023 has in store for you.
I am so proud! And I'm not even Welsh ))

Am sorry there are many all male or female groups only boys with only boys was truly special
Some of those boys look an awful lot like girls. Apparetly the original Boy's choir has succumbed to political pressure

They can call it whatever they want they're bowing to pressure only boys allowed was ethereal
@@terrym5023 Only Boys Aloud (note spelling 😉) still exists as it has always. This is a celebration of all Aloud choirs. What’s wrong with that?
