Hunger depletes faster if your health is below maximum. 7:40 - Sunshakes will restore a portion of health, hunger, and thirst. Better to save them than use just for thirst. Carrots restore a lot of hunger, but little thirst, Tomatoes restore a lot of thirst, but little hunger, and beets are a balance. There are other foods as well, but you will discover those.
I'm glad you've finally decided to give Scrap Mechanic a go, I always love seeing how differently people deal with the problems presented in scrap mechanic
@@pokey5509 ya, it does on the starter car with its scrap wheels After that and till you find an oil pond, weight is THE issue #1 to reduce fuel consumption… or finding a controller and upgrade it, that works too xD
I just watched Prof's POV, and asked in one of the Discord servers if you were gonna post yours. So glad you did. See if you can get Prof to teach you how to use the glitches the Devs are leaving in.
The lore we've figured out so far is that you, as the mechanic/s, were sent to find out why the produce that was coming from this planet stopped coming, and instead of landing on the planet, your ship's navigation got messed up by something, hence the crash. As you're discovering, the bots you were sent to fix are running amok. Perhaps they're part of the problem.
2:13 "He's harmless as long as you hit him" 😂 Is it just me, or did they remove the suspension mug from the crashed ship? A good tip for finding your vehicle. Equip the Connect Tool. It shows all the connections from a decent distance. Wait... Does this mean we might get to see Yzuei on Multiplayer Mondays now?. Even more insanity! lol
@@TheRealWafia If you have a gaming pc/laptop you owe it to yourself to get the game, it's not very expensive and it has endless content. (especially with mods, I highly suggest the crashlander mod and the fant mod, but play vanilla first) It's by far my most played steam game.
Yzuei please look around the mechanic station you will find good small wheel at each mechanic station and after you start the power in the station get the craft bot built so you have proper idea of the wide selection of parts available for crafting and building in Scrap mechanic.
I absolutely love watching people play through scrap-mechanic for the first time that and multiplayer playthroughs of survival so I'm very much looking forward to seeing this Yzuei!!!
Second comment: Tips and tricks for the game Bots: many common ones you'll encounter are Totebots, Haybots/Hankbots, and Farmbots(which behave like mini bosses) and ones that reside in warehouse's are Tapebots very powerful and dangerous ranged enemies with two versions, one regular blue's found outside and inside warehouse and explosive red's found inside third or fourth floor depending on warehouse. Tools: essential for progressing from handheld like the welder and connecter tool, to crafting stations, resource collectors and refiner's, and the Lift the most versatile tool given to any begginers, useful for transporting and building creations and of course act like a lift for reaching high areas or staying out of reach from bots. Parts: used for building machines and contraptions the best one's would normally be engine's, wheels and a seat others are controller's, switch & buttons, drills(for mining) and saw's(for large trees). Farming: like Minecraft you need food and farming can solve that. To do this you need soil bags that can be found around chests, loot crates, buildings/ruins warehouses or from the trader, then place them on ground (doesn't work in buildings), water the plot and place the desired seeds you want. But after that you need to prepare for what's to come. Defend: your mechanic needs more than a hammer especially when bots raid your farm, so what you need are weapons more specifically Spud Guns a Mechanic's chosen weapon and has four varieties, regular (standard Spud Gun), Spudling Gun (potato Gatling Gun), Spud Shotgun (effective for groups of enemy bots), Mounted Spud Gun (for weaponizing creations). All require ammo (Spud's) which can be acquired from farming, loot crates, chest, and trader, drills and saws are also effective weapons to and Totebotes & Haybots are afraid of it but only so, and high durable blocks metal. Trader and Packaging Stations: Found somewhere in every world there is a trader that trades tool's and part's, food and seeds, and clothes for vegetables, fruits and caged farmers. Fruits and veggies need to be packaged for trading and package stations are scattered around your world each having different food slots for packing so remember the location. Beacons: Useful items that can be crafted and place down to show their location and can be switched on or off with the log book. I hope this helps 😊
Once Yzuei gets used to the building of Scrap Mechanic I feel he is going to create some really cool looking builds, especially with the new draggable wedges.
This is really cool and I hope you enjoy survival mode. I know you played a little SM a while ago in Challenge or Creative or whatever with kAN and Scrapman but survival definitely offers more of a sense of purpose and objective. I can't wait to see what you build since your builds in TMs are always awesome looking. 😊
Press L to open log book & set waypoint. only the ship, mech station & beacons are implemented ATM. Grow 9 crops to avoid raids. 🙂 and check engine power slider.
Yzuei you can make the car 4wd. It would improve handling (and your front wheel not spinning situation). You might also be able to increase engine power too. Also, putting stuff on your car makes it heavier so it will consume more fuel.
One thing that wasn’t helping with Bessie was the weight distribution. Bessie is rear wheel drive and Prof was sitting in the front, putting all the weight up there. You gotta use the connection tool to hook up the engine to the front wheels or move his seat to the back.
it really circles back to when Kan and scrapman and moombo occasionally played scrapmechanic then scrap moved onto trailmakers mostly i do miss what they did and now professor and yzuei are playing
I'm a scrap mechanic Fiend i have over a thousand hours and man its so much fun i love it. I am going to start a new play through with some people on steam or something because playing alone is getting pretty boring
Yooooo you definitely need to continue this playthrough, like the entire thing, I will watch, like, and comment on every video you do of Scrap Mechanic Survival 🫶🏻
I think after this series is over he Should then startup another With the Fant mod, I have never played SM without after i found out about it. Fant is somehow doing Axolot's job better than they can.
You can place 2 scrap wheels together, with the lumps on opposite sides, to make the ride slightly smoother. But this info doesn't help you, now, since you have the crafter to make proper wheels. Still, though, the more you know!
Ill fix my FOV For the next episode!
thank you. i am assuming this is what people with glasses go through everyday.

I keep mine on 90 for Scrap.
There is a single good wheel around each mechanic station. Also there isn't much of a campaign. Never has been one

There is a setting to change the field of vision, by default it's 60 but it goes up to 90 :)
I knew something looked odd the moment he started walking around, couldn't figure it out until I read this.
The default FOV is actually 50. I have no idea why Axolot made this the default, it's way too zoomed in. I usually use 80-90.
