I want to buy one, do you recommend me the artist 12 pro 2nd gen that is cheaper or i should go with xp pen 15.6? Im a beginner and It will be my first display tablet, i have a Huion h430P.
If it fits your budget, I would get the 15 inch. I don't really use the 12 inch anymore since I got the larger model. It is easier on the eyes and is easier to see the tool palettes.
Do the 12 and 15 have the same driver? I had the 12 and was thinking of getting the 15, but I don't want to constantly have to worry about switching, Uninstalling and reinstalling between 2 drivers
Same driver. I have a 3rd XP-Pen 22" that is older and needs a different driver. The 12" and 15" use the same one. At least for the Mac. Not sure about Windows but I would assume it does too.
Thinking of replacing my old Artist 12 with Artist Pro 15.6 , so this was really helpful. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful Kiruto. I am using my 12" for travel now and it works well since it uses the same drivers as the 15".
Would love to try to art on one of these things one day. Must be a treat.
Thanks P
Hey ZED! Yes I like them. I see XP-Pen just launched newer versions. I doubt I will get them as these work fine for me though.
Good info. Thanks. I find my Wacom one 13” too small too. Old eyes need a whopper.
Yeah. I think 13" wouldn't work for me either at this point. I still use my 22" as well but that is a standalone setup.
