The song is one of many Erlend has composed on the ukulele he got for his 40th birthday as a present from @luigi_scialdone. On the recording @lacomitiva.band plays guitars and piano and sings the choir at the end. 3 members of stargaze plays: flute @maaikevanderlinde, trombone @kobiarditi, trumpet and horn @blyrcm

Just when I thought I couldn’t love Erlend any more than I already do, he goes and visits Chile.
para quienes se preguntan donde es el video (no todo es valdivia, de hecho casi ni aparece...)
si no me equivoco, parte en el nahuel huapi en argentina, avanzan por la ruta 40 hacia chile. las escenas de una carretera llovida son el lado chileno, por puyehue. muestran además el volcan puyehue y creo que el osorno¿? (eso no lo recuerdo bien).
de ahí pasan a niebla. la escena donde erlend está en un bote es el río valdivia, justo donde se junta con el mar (se ve de fondo el ferry niebla-corral).
finalmente, muestran a ambos pueblos. creo que la playa es en niebla, aunque puedo estar equivocado.
ojalá a alguien le ayude este recorrido charcha por el sur¿?
Asi es Cristian. El video fue hecho con fragmentos de un viaje en auto desde Bariloche a Santiago. Lamentablemente los videos fueron tomados sin saber que se consignarían a esta canción. La canción de hecho fue escrita en Valdivia durante el viaje y es por eso que lleva ese nombre. Te felicito por tu conocimiento de Chile y ojalá pueda volver pronto a sus tierras maravillosas! Cristián Chamorro me parecía que una de las playas, estoy casi seguro, era Playa Rosada, que va de camino a Curiñanco, es bastante bonito el camino hacia allá... hay lugares súper lindos ahí, vale la pena recorrérlos, y, también aparece Niebla, es súper lindo ahí! en lo particular me gusta el video, es nostálgico a decir verdad!

Oh wow, as a Chilean living abroad this song hit me outta nowhere and brought me back to my childhood memories and my holidays in and around Valdivia with my family. I recognise Niebla as well as parts of Argentina as well. Lovely and thank you.

i love that idea! his music really has a direct knot leading to childhood, empathy, summer breeze and sea walks, respecting nature and loss (well, that's at least how i feel) and just like miyazakis' films, it takes off the banalities of life and you start not taking people, trees, animals, everyone and everything you love and hold dear for granted!
