Back in the 70's when I first started working on foreign cars, I was told that "Carbuerator" translates from French as "Don't fuck with it!"!
Yeah, it will fuck you back :) Some people are good with them, my dad prefers them, but the clogging man, the clogging. ..
from what i remember clutch plates are supposed to be soaked for 24hrs in eng oil
Have you thought about unbolting the entire gas cap assembly and putting it in an ultrasonic cleaner?
I would love to. I can't get the gas cap off without unlocking and removing the cap first. that's why I am stuck. Unless I am missing something - which is viable
