- During Johnny Depp’s defamation trial against his ex-wife, Amber Heard, British model Kate Moss denied that the actor ever pushed her down a flight of stairs while the two were in a relationship in the 1990s. Heard had previously brought up a rumor that Depp had pushed Moss down the stairs, testifying that she worries he would do the same to her.

Moss is famously a very private individual. She rarely, if ever, gives interviews or speaks to the press. The sheer fact she's willing to go out to bat for Depp is big in itself, let alone the fact she's explicitly rebutting part of Heard's testimony.
Maybe she misses the time they spent together and is secretly hoping there's some chance they might pick up where they left off, now that Depp is free of Heard? A very private woman like her would need a lot of motivation to do what she did as to help Depp, her ex, knowing it would be the final nail in Heard's coffin. A woman in love might betray another woman, if that's what it takes to get a man she desires. Though this may not be the case here.... Still, it seems odd to me because, in this very aggressively feminist era, women will put other women ahead of men. Even if it means lying or other forms of female deceit, to protect the interests of their own female gender. Especially women of the age group of Amber and Kate.

This trial is actually a great study on societal issues, human rights and the injustices of gender biases. It brings to light how dangerous it is to paint a broad brush on matters of domestic violence, mental health and depression based on superficial perceptions. The positives from this trial is that you can see just how many individuals who went through similar abuse coming out to share their stories. Just look at the comments section that came with every video published in connection to this story and you'll see what I mean. Just because the trial involves celebrities it doesn't mean they are any less human than the rest of us, experiencing life upheavals and pain.
exactly, and there are actually some people who are claiming that JD supporters are "worshipping" him and "Excusing him of his mistakes" and "looking at him as if he's a God". Like, no. Honestly, those people are the ones who aren't looking at them as humans, just because they are rich and are celebrities.

I'm not a fan nor are my parents and siblings watching this trial. We watched because we worked with DV victims. My brother is a lawyer and my sister is a trauma psychologist. So, we're interested for different reasons. But we all agree that their relationship was very toxic and hopefully they get the help they desperately need especially Amber because she has a young child that will eventually be trapped in that toxic cycle. We've already seen the results caused by AH and JD's childhood traumas.

It really shows why more men who are abused do not step forward. If Amber was a man many on hear would be screaming at the length she has went to. The reason she never spoke to the police is that would be false reporting in a civil case you are less likely to go to jail for tampering with evidence and perjury. In a criminal case you do go to jail for that. I am a suviour and as much as I have tried to see her as victim it is just not there. I do see she has a lot of mental issues she is struggling with and needs to address. MR. Depp himself has some mental issues as well he needs to get help for. They both need rehab for their drug and alcohol use. It really sad when one can point to the other say your drug use is an issue but mine is just peachy.

Those who are wondering why she said "Johnny Depp Never Pushed Me, Kicked Me Or Threw Me ... Down Any Stairs" -the purpose of adding "any stairs". It is not because there might be kicks elsewhere than stairs, but simply because without adding "down any stairs", the sentence would not be admitted (objection), as it would cover items outside of the scope that Amber mentioned and her lawyers would not want Kate to give more positive light to Johnny beyond the stairs matter. Kate knew that, so she paused, intentionally, and added "down any stairs". Everybody understood that she meant "anywhere at all", but with this ending she made the statement go through without the objection. Smart move!
