Love Theory of a Dead Man. Their older stuff is more on the rock side but I’ve never minded my bands dabbling with expanding their sound. BTW - I’m an indica man. Keep Rock Alive!! 🤘🏽🖤🔥🙌🏼 ℁
A band called Soul Assilum wrote a song about run away teens. The video they showed dozens of run aways photos and found lots of them. Some were just high livings on the streets and never called home but found out they were in the video and did! It was so successful they made a second video with new faces! It’s amazing and wonderful. Deserves to me remembered. RUN AWAY TRAIN!!
Love Theory of a Deadman... underrated band. They've definitely rocked me thru some difficult stuff. Emotion, depth, relatable. This was awesome 💕 Hello Lonely, Since You Been Gone (BYOKleenex)
The video game Indigo Prophecy introduced me to Theory of a Deadman waaaay back in the day. Iirc it had No Surprise and Santa Monica on there. Great fucking songs!
When I think of prescription addictions I always think of the "Who's more dead?" PSA. One died of illegal drugs and the other died from prescription drugs. Who's more dead?
Theory has some great songs! Love them. Check out Blow and Bad Girlfriend. They do a great cover of Wicked Game. The lead singer has an awesome vocal range.
Love Theory of a Deadman! Check out "Hate My Life" & "Bad Girlfriend" Great reaction as usual my friend! Can you please react to Alter Bridge "Blackbird" or "Find The Real" live in Amsterdam 2008, thanks! 💯🖤🎶🤘
@@RudeLifeX Sorry to hear that my friend. I really dig your reactions...and song choices too! Sorry RUclips is giving you such a hard time. I hope they fix the problem. 🙄 Thanks for responding too! I appreciate that. Hopefully in the near future you will check out Alter Bridge. They really are an incredibly talented band and I think you'd really like them. Have a great day! 🤘
Love this band and the herbal meds too! When you get a chance, check out Faith No More. they have too many great songs to list, when you're ready, ask your subs. I'm sure they will help. : )
I got addicted to adderall, and soon I couldn't get enough of it. So startered experimenting with meth and crack. I ended up getting hooked on meth and this song came out that same year and it was my shit, just feeling bad for myself. But I'm over it now thankfully.
While I very much enjoyed your reaction, I think it is somewhat hypocritical to condone Marijuana while warning against the dangers of the prescriptions. I think you may have missed the larger point of the song. It wasn't, at least imo, about the health dangers of taking prescription meds (which of course are tremendous), I believe the larger point is revealed in bridge #3 - "your friends are high right now, your parents are high right now, that hot chick's high right now..." I believe the point he is making is that everyone these days is on something. You may not call it "high" but they're on some prescription aka high. We are depressed (prozac), angry (zoloft), anxious (xanax), maybe we just cant pay attention (adderall), and all those pills are condoned. Not much of a difference between those people and opioid addicts, meth and crack users. Ultimately the difference is a doctors note. And many opioid addicts have the prescription. But I think the song even infers deeper than that. Everyone is an addict. Addicted to any of those drugs? Maybe not. How about porn? Candy crush or just your cell phone in general? For you, it's weed. People say it's non habit forming. Non addictive. I argue I know plenty of people that do it daily. That's an addiction. Point being, in 2022, nobody is sober. Everybody is viewing the world through some sort of artificial veil. Whether it be zoloft or weed, addicted to their cell phone and Twitter, or addicted to Heroine, we are all on whatever gives us the most dopamine... your friends are high right now, your parents are high right now, that hot chick's high right now, that cop is high right now, the president's high right now, your priest is high right now, everyone's high as fuck right now and no one's ever coming down
@@RudeLifeX honestly, it's my take on the song. I haven't looked into any sort of interviews where they talk about it. But when I first heard it and all subsequent hearings, it's all I can think of an it makes so much sense as a commentary on today's society. There isn't a person alive without a vice of some sort. Everyone is chasing dopamine/seratonin/oxytocin/endorphins in some way shape or form. I know I spend way too much time on my phone. It's a problem. It's an addiction. I go on ____ app and get dopamine. No different from somebody who has to masterbate 10x a day for dopamine or somebody who take heroin. They all are behaviors seeking the same desired result. Just different levels of social acceptance.
Finally, someone reacts to this.
Barely started to watch you and already love the vibes man
