There is nothing better that you could be doing for your cat and the environment than giving him an outdoor patio. People who don’t know anything about cats will say it’s a “prison” but no it’s PROTECTION. Cats are NOT apart of the ecosystem as they are domesticated! They should not be treated as wild!

i need you to know that i missed the brooke-got-a-kitten plot point!! i was really confused about the nature of Jonathan’s species. truly, earnestly, sitting here trying to figure out what kind of pet this was until kat finally said the word kitten. never in my life have i met a kitten with an oral fixation. you learn something new everyday!
BROOKE I HAVE A NURSING CAT - what works for me is I give him the palm of my hand when he goes for my neck or face and let him just go for it and he eventually gets what he needs after like 5-10 mins and stops lol. He’s 2 now and only does it once a day ish. Hope this helps you!
would really encourage you to try Intermezzo again when in the headspace 😁 it’s good to challenge ourselves sometimes with books. one of the benefits of a book CLUB

When you own a home you pay your mortgage just like paying your rent but you’re basically paying it off to fully own it. If your house is worth $300k And you owe $200k Your home equity is $100k You can borrow against your equity or use it to buy your next house Also I know you’re in California and everything is more expensive so idk Hope that helps
