    This is just a bad owner vs good owner debate

      I only oppress my involuntarily indentured pleasure critters on the days that end in Y.

    Ball pythons are pretty much easy mode pets provided you do your research.

    As with literally every topic imaginable, there is a responsible way of doing things and an irresponsible way of doing things. Elles reptiles is a good example of responsible reptile keeping, and there are plenty more so thanks for choosing her. The overall feel of this video with its ominous background audio seems negative which might do the reptile community a disservice, or hopefully bring about more responsible keeping. Try and look for more positive aspects and/or keepers for future reptile information.

    Is it ethical to keep animals in a zoo?

  • @reelburke
    @reelburke 21 день назад

    Did y'all do the same question for cats and dogs? Because some humans just shouldn't have animals. There isn't a problem with keeping animals* if you're doing it right.
    *obviously some exceptions

    Lol. The Reptile pet business is growing faster than other kinds of pets now that around 76% of people in most nations now live in urban areas. I am sure sometimes there is a competition to see who is the best circus reptile handler or instead only just the kind of self appointed Zoologist animal rights activist too trying to shame people who are spending money on them instead. I confess that we used to have a Bearded Dragon who loved to play tug of war on the floor with with their owner too playing with an old worn out silk scarf after dark in the winter when it is feeling too warm for us humans at the time on the umpteenth floor of a highrise apartment building where he maybe would have been really good at catching bugs too. Please be aware though that some of their pet food can escape from their cages. Which might end up if our climate keeps on getting warmer up north here be more than just a little problematic to any kind of for example wood based construction.
