    Arabic letters in Urdu: (ث، ح، خ، ذ، ص، ض، ط، ظ، ع، غ، ق) - words having these letters are *mostly* of Arabic origin.
Persian letters in Urdu: (ژ (as 's' in pleasure), خ (It is indigenous to both Persian and Arabic))
Letters that look different but have the same sound:
    - (ت، ط) have the same sound.
    - (ث، س، ص) have the same sound.
    - (ح، ہ) have the same sound.
    - (ذ، ز، ظ، ض) have the same sound.
    - (ا، ع) both are glottal stops when they appear at the beginning of a word. (See: grammar.about.com/od/fh/g/glottalstopterm.htm)
    - There is another 'he' called 'Do-Chashmi-He' (that is 'he' having two eyes) which is employed for the aspirated consonants (See en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/aspirate). For example, we have (بھائی - bhai), where 'bh' shows that 'b' is an aspirated consonant.
Native speakers of Urdu pronounce (خ، غ، ق) as Arabs and Persians do, perhaps with less emphasis.

By watching RUclips videos and learn Language is very popular method. This method is called Learner-Centered Approach. Here learner is the manager of his/her learning. Where he/she will be employing all available resources to complete a learning task. Whether learning is efficient and effective- it depends how are you using your resources to reach to your learning goals.
I would also suggests you to find your learning style type. So that you are able to know your convenient way of learning. Moreover, you may need to know what is your personality so that you can have better control on yourself and by exploiting your positive strengths, you can be good learning manager. In the last, the most important is to know where do you rank the Urdu learning in the priority lists of your short term/long term goals. It is like a building of house, where you are allocating your available resources and complete the project. I hope you have got the answer. If you are interested to find your learning style and personality type, I can help you in that.

The ت makes a "they" sound not T.
And the چ makes a "chey" sound, not ce.
The خ makes a glottal "khey" sound, not xe
The د makes a "dhaal" or "thaal" sound like the sound TH make in the word there or then. It's called a hard D not a soft D.
The ڈ makes a soft D sound is "daal" in English.
The ذ makes a "zaal" sound like in the English word zags. And the ذ makes "zeir" sound like in zebra.
Actually there are too many mistakes for me to correct. At least another 7 mistakes. I'm from the UK and know Urdu and Balochi. As I speak both I know how to teach it to simplify it, I guess.
