Man o man. Just when I thought it couldn't get better after bird #2, Sage makes another unbelievable find on #3. She's a blue ribbon hunting dog. Please give Sage a scratch behind the ear for me.

@jcwoutdoors we've got the snow in ND...I'm not a huge fan of that much snow, just because it blows so hard every time and then all the cattails/cover are blown FULL of snow then and it's a PITA.
Wow. What epic retrieves for Sage! I hunt solo without a dog and I had a very similar situation as the first rooster that you got. I flushed 4 roosters out of the corner of a fence row. I hit the lead bird & he flew another 50-75 yards went straight up in the air peaked high in the sky and then cartwheeled down to the ground. I searched an hour looking for him. Thoroughly crosshatching the grassy area with no luck. I was sooooo bummed. That would’ve been my first wild bird here in Ohio. Or anywhere for that matter. Btw…my GoPro Hero3 Plus is old technology & doesn’t look nearly as good as your videos. Please keep them coming.
