As a Texas Hispanic, I grew up eating spicy Mexican foods. Years back, after watching Food Network and Cooking Channel, I really started experimenting with Asian chili oil, chili vinegar and, pastes. Love them. We're so lucky to be living in this digital age. We can taste the world in our own homes.
I hate oysters but I love the chili butter. How great would that be on pasta with shrimp? Thank you Chef for the recipe and thank you #MakersMark for sponsoring this recipe video.
That was so engaging and looked absolutely delicious. What a fun chef. I loved their vibe! As a SF neighbor, I will immediately google them and learn all there is to know.
This sounds delicious. A lot of work though if you are making the chili oil. Luckily, being half Chinese, there is a big jar of chili oil in my fridge haha

I must eat these during summertime on my patio.
It was the casual sabering of the champagne bottle that did it for me...

I'd like to try this. I've only had fried oysters.
I will not eat raw oysters don’t care what anyone says but Id iill this and eat them up!
Very confused about why she didn't just broil the oysters on the bed of rock salt?
Salt is not oil-soluble.
I remember reading about that. How would you incorporate it into chili oil then? dissolve in the smallest amount of water first?
