He has to start ahead of Saka in the Euros. Saka’s only “better” bc he plays in a better team if they were both performing the same but league positions changed you’d say Palmer is clear. 🤷🏻♂️
@@bamba4505you’re mad because he’s right and he proved it in the euros with whatever little playtime he had. Every time he was put on the pitch he created opportunities for others to score goals. @fakeotaku5788 What the hell are you even talking about? 😂😂 "He proved it at the Euros"? So what about Saka, who crossed the ball for Jude in the opening match vs. Serbia? or Saka's wonderful long-range strike that helped England equalise vs. Switzerland? Or Saka being one of the more consistent players for England at major tournaments? Back to back England Player of the Year Saka??? So, all these isn't him proving his place in this England team? 😂 Y'all are funny sometimes
Also, Palmer should be replacing Foden on the pitch l, not Saka. I don't have any issue with him starting, as long as it's on the left where Foden isn't performing. No way, you want England to bench Saka, who's been arguably one of their most consistent if not their most consistent attacker during this Euros. C'mon, man. I would love Palmer to start more matches on the left but let's not act like Saka has been playing badly throughout the tournament. Let's not do that
I noticed something unique about him is that he's not deciding from the begining to shoot or pass he just mobiles himself with body movement and skill in a until he finds the solution in either assisting or scoring, his technique is calm and chill, also if he learns the stepovers it would be a massive plus for him, really a class player i hope him the best
When we signed him I thought he was another Danny Drinkwater who will go out on loan to Vitesse or something next season. Boy was I wrong. Contrary to what idiots say, he doesn't only score pens. He was second place in assists this season in the Premier League despite Watkins making 3 more appearances than Palmer. He looks great in any position he plays, and he doesn't only rely on goals to impact the game. His long-range passing and vision are incredible
The amount of comically bad touches and finishes after a sublime ball from Palmer is unreal. Also this video is missing the back heel assist for Carney’s winner
He's definitely a better all round player than Vini Jr. In fact, I can't think of another attacking player who is as complete as Palmer - he can dribble, cross, pick a pass (short and long range) and can shoot from anywhere. The one thing that Vini Jr has is his electric dribbling ability which makes him the player he is. You take that away from him, Vini Jr is half the player he is. Just look at the goal contributions of both players in the league this season - Palmer has 33 (3rd overall behind Kane and Mbappe) and Vini Jr has 21. Granted, Vini Jr played 8 games less but doesn't change the fact that Palmer was the 3rd best player in Europe for goal contributions in his first full season as a professional.
@@harryzaman1023 you are as biased as they come, on what earth do you think vini is only dependent on his pace and is not a complete attacker, vini is double and triple teamed practically every match he plays and he still puts in insane match statistics, his playing style literally bleeds joga bonita and is one of if not the only brazilian currently playing the game with direct skill and flair.... he thrives directly playing in this style.
