It's not very often you get to see what exactly goes into something you have made, but I'm amazed exactly what all went into something like this, even on the large professional machines (there's definitely a ton more work than I'd expected). The attention to detail is absolutely evident in the finished parts, with perfect fit and finish. The thrust bearings fit perfectly, and everything lined up to the steppers with zero issue. I'd love to get to where I could make my own stuff like this, but I honestly do NOT have the patience, lol.
