I will always be grateful to my bestie for getting me into The Crue! I didn't grow up with the hair metal/glam metal of the 80s, I became obsessed in my late teens/early twenties. But these guys are the epitome of rock and roll!
You probaby woulda loved the 80's --- you could drive around any small town in America on a Friday night and hear this song being cranked out of people's cars, while cruising to the mall or just hanging out in a parking lot --- life was simpler back then, but people were happier and laughed a lot as well

I will never forget this show because when my best friend and room mate left the concert we kept saying that was a badass show and then I said you know what I think I want to start a band and he said I want to be in it...by the end of the summer we had wrote some songs and played our first party. That band stayed together for over 5 years, we never made it to this level but we sure had fun playing all over town. Good times!

It's crazy how '87 was such a good time for all this great music --- I remember blasting the Motley album and GNR album all summer, and then in the fall I was cranking the Whitesnake album and then Def Leppard "Hysteria" album
