- Hi guys! Today we are going to be doing a Bridgerton Season 3 Reaction to episode 3 in the series! I'm excited to see how things unfold between Colin and Penelope and I'm also eager to know if things get patched up between Penelope and Eloise!

Nicola actually confirmed in an interview or a tiktok or something that Penelope didn't move right away because she was too busy looking at Colin to notice the balloon coming towards her. And let's be honest, Colin only noticed that balloon first BECAUSE he was so busy looking at Pen😭🤭💕

I love how in both other seasons Colin constantly refers to Penelope as his friend, but after the kiss he can’t even say it. He knows she’s more than a friend.
But then everyone continuously calls him her friend after it lol

After the handshake from the garden he didn't refer to her as friend at all, she's a good acquaintance of the family for sure 😂
ive seen tweets of someone saying this, but I think Colin has always had feelings for Penelope, at least emotionally cuz the looks that he is giving her this season arent that different from the looks he gave her in previous seasons. i think that kiss linked his physical connection to her and he finally realized he has feelings for her
After rewatching S1 und S2 I realized that Colin aaaalways was staring at Pen or searching for her. And the minute he saw her he went talking to her. He's always loved her but he just didn't know that he loved her in a romantic way.
That acting of Luke Newton when Colin is like "Yes. She is um... Well, a great acquaintance of... the family's, of course..." cracked me up. extremely well done. Everyone is talking about him being flustered by her eating cake, but this is the truly flustered moment and I love it!
Right?? He’s MASTERED the art of Awkward 😂
The willow tree scene also has some great awkward romantic comedy, mostly from Luke Newton!
I haven't seen anyone mention this, but I LOVE how Colin looks at Pen after the kiss! Every time he sees her after that, the look on his face is like, "She's so beautiful. How did I miss this before?"
Just a note: In his journal Colin wrote about a moment of intimacy but how it felt distant at the same time. So really, he's done an "intimate act" but he hasn't felt "intimacy" yet.

Cause this man is all about feelings😍, he doesn't enjoy s*x if he doesn't feel anything for the girl she's sleeping with, so every experience he had was meaningless cause he doesn't feel anything for those girls
Agreed. He talks in his writing about still being distant despite physical intimacy. For me, that’s why I assume they have him with two women in the brothel scene, as he doesn’t emotionally connect with those women and being with two rather than one he can try and ignore that lack of connection and leave it something completely superficial and emotionless.
An interesting fact : during the dance between benedict and tilly, she switches the roles. Benedict is dancing the women's part and she is leading the men's

PolIn made me hooked in this series from the get go... I don't even watch Netflix then... But I literally rewarded everything just to see both Luke and Nicola (great artists ❤❤)
25:00 in that moment when Colin says out loud, "I..." and Debbling interrupted, to me, I see him say "love you" without a sound, I might be crazy but I always read his lips, to me, he was about to say I love you but he was scared of losing her and her friendship in case she didn't feel the same, that is why he was nervous and said without a sound.
Apparently, a great Auk is an ancient species of Penguin in Artic. They were extinct during the 19th century, so Lord Debling here is probably travelling to Artic, trying to make an effort to preserve the species. So when Pen is taking about other birds, he seemed a little offended because the great Auk is not like other bird. Literally it is the ancestors of penguin😅

I'll be really surprised if any of the Featheringtons apologize to Pen. They might do it in front of Colin to save face, but will it be genuine? I cannot wait to see that confrontation! Also, I am so on the Lord Anderson train.

If you really think about it though if that balloon kept going it would have hit them both in the freaking head because their heads were still in the way of that balloon....so it was Colin that actually stopped the balloon and pulled it away from Penelope! Debling isn't so great he wasn't even in it for love, he just wants a house wife to take care of his home when he is away! I don't like Debling for Penelope and I didn't like Marina for Colin! Polin all the way!

Not so fun fact the actress who plays Eloise when she wears the poof across her arms is because she actually broke her arm trying to do a hi kick early in the morning before they started shooting any scenes the dress didn’t have any give at the bottom so she started to fall backwards and put her arm behind herself to break her fall and broke her wrist

@@TajinaeTurner yeah she mentioned it in a tik tok but I remember that I thought it was odd watching the show thinking it didn’t go with Eloise’s character to wear that as a fashion statement so it made perfect sense after knowing she broke her wrist and also there is a scene with the whole fam where she is laying down on the couch you can see her cast in that shot. Her wrist is all healed now though for anybody who was super worried

Lady Danbury has 4 children but they are all grown up and I think are living off somewhere else with there families. And I think she hates her kids thats why we never see them 😂 the only time we have seen one of them was in Queen Charlotte
