Ira Block - Photojournalist

Ira Block has photographed more than 30 features for National Geographic, with subjects ranging from ancient Greek artifacts to fossils in the Gobi Desert to Peruvian mummies. Often, his assignments require long hours of travel, difficult working conditions, and equipment challenges. In this talk, Block discusses how he stays inspired and engaged.

I prefer "seasoned pro" to "old geezer"; I shot film from my 1st camera, a brown plastic Brownie, in about 1955, until I switched to digital in 2000; Florida has absolutely the most spectacular sunrises I've ever seen.
