I want to thank u for making this encouraging video. Many of us have fallen into depression and a deep sadness as we fight this spiritual battle.
Saint Therese gives us hope and peace knowing that our path to God's kingdom includes many scourges. So, if we are experiencing scourging, then maybe God is using our suffering for the greater good of all.
Please sweet Saint Therese, intercede for me and for the whole world.
God Bless the faithful and God Bless the whole world.

Salve Maria! Brother Vincent St. Therese faced many temptations in the last moments of her life may we never lose the precious gift of love for Our Blessed Mother, who will be there at our last hour. Like the Quote from St. Therese "Beyond the clouds the sky is always blue!" Let us keep this thought as we go through despair that there is always a clear blue sky on the other side. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🌹🌹❤

I believe those who suffer heroically are saints. A rhyme says, "To live above, with the saints we love, is the purest glory. Living below, with the saints we know, is a different story." A lot of saints had unlikeable personalities so I believe everybody can be a saint on his own right ie not all the stars in heaven shine the same.

ohhhh father vincent, I have soooooo many things to share especially about my own pains, sufferings, sorrows, persecutions, tears, and heartaches, but what I'm gonna share now is what strikes me most. I have had a *rheumatic heart disease* since I was nine years old as per medical record, at the *same time* I have had a *coronary heart* disease since I was twenty five years old. I had *dengue hemorrhagic fever* when I was twenty nine years old which made my *platelets drop to zero.* and *now battling with an incurable disease* 😁 but, I have always compared myself to a saint like st. therese and st. john marie vianney. both fought the temptations of *all kinds. I do too.* 😁 but I'm always *thankful* and *grateful* to God that I am *better* than they were 🤣🤣🤣 because when I was *tempted* by the d3v1l, I *wasn't hurt at all* 👏👏👏😀😀😀👍💯 I *wasn't slapped,* I *wasn't* ugh 😩 I can't say it 'cuz yt deletes my comments 😭🤣 but, what I'm trying to say is that, I have always been *protected* by God in *all* things especially during *temptations* and *attacks* by the 👿 so, I guess, I'm *more loved* by God than they were 🤣😂 or I guess I'm *not a saint* 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😭😭😭💔💔💔🙏🙏🙏
    Jesus, I trust in You.
*Jesus, we, us? We are always one. One in pains. One in sufferings. One in sorrows. One in persecutions. One in glory. We save. Totus tuus.* - Victim Soul
Jesus, I love You to folly.

Ste Therese did not "hope" that she would die, but rather, she was afraid she would find the suffering unbearable. Big difference. Her great soul struggled. That was perfectly acceptable because of her great humility. That she willingly conformed to God's great love for her. And YES she had selfdoubts. But living saints are not robots. Most Catholics do not see deep spiritual truths about God's having His "favourite" souls.
This is spiritually and psychologically complex, and it takes tremendous spiritual depth that has to be both PERSONAL and INTIMATE .
There is no other way to DISCERN the difference between the two. These are SUBJECTIVE STATES that are outside the purview of the gospels and the church's great spiritual theological understanding of the human soul.
The countless times l have been faced with the mystery of my own fallen nature, and have been shown my blindness and total inadequacy to see the objective truth about my second-nature preoccupation to be the judge, even though my preoccupation to be the exclusive self-referential guide to the hidden truths of my wounded ontological being were not from the Holy Spirit. This was complicated by my inordinate inclination to deceive myself with rationalization, wishful thinking, denial, et al.
Ste Therese did not "hope" to die to end her great suffering. She would have understood implicitly that she was betraying Christ, her greatest love. In the last 18 months of her young life, her body consumed by metastasizing TB, and the Holy Spirit placing her in the Dark Night of the Soul, where every consolation was taken from her, and God was absolutely with her except He was hidden. Yet her heroic soul was in Perfect Union with Christ. Even though she was not granted full cognitive awareness that she was already a living saint. She lived perfectly... Matthew 18:3, to become like a "little child". That has to be understood spiritually or its a waste. I remember once an EWTN priest in his sermon at mass mentioning this verse from Matthew. Unfortunately, his understanding was completely psychological, and he did not know the difference.
And you pontificated about her spiritual scruples possibly endangering her eternal salvation...NOT POSSIBLE.
I regret to say that the post Vatll church has been seduced by feel-good psychology, and no-one in the clerical hierarchy has the spiritual depth to WEEP, to GRIEVE for the terrible state of the church(because God "writes straight with crooked lines") which has to include western civilization.

Before she entered the convent at age 15, St. Teresa, the Little Flower, experienced a time of excessive anxiety and introspection - fearing that even her thoughts could lead to eternal damnation. When she was 12 years old in 1885 she attended a retreat, the theme of which was “Better to die than sully one’s soul with a mortal sin.” The titles of the retreat conferences that Theresa heard were “Hell, Judgment, Mortal Sin, The Necessity of Making a Good Confession, and Sacrilegious Communion.” Theresa wrote: “What the priest told us was frightening. He spoke about mortal sin, and he described a soul in the state of sin and how much God hated it.” And she wrote: “One would have to pass through this martyrdom (suffering) to understand it well, and for me to express what I experienced for a year and a half would be impossible.”
And Teresa continued to suffer even in the monastery. Numerous preachers of spiritual retreats at that time were infected with the heresy of Jansenism and preached fire and brimstone, stressing sin, and the sufferings of purgatory and of hell. This did not help Teresa who in 1891 experienced “great inner trials of all kinds, even wondering sometimes whether heaven existed.” One phrase she heard during a retreat made her weep: “No one knows if they are worthy of love or of hate.”
But in October 1891, a sermon preached by a Franciscan priest gave Teresa a great comfort. She wrote: “His preaching on abandonment to God’s mercy expanded my heart...” So Teresa received a grace from God that liberated her from crippling “over sensitivity.” And the emotional difficulties she endured would enable her to counsel the Lisieux Carmel’s novices with wisdom beyond her years: “God our Father loves us always, absolutely, unfailingly, eternally.”
