I feel like Ari is Summer's first love, someone she will always be a little in love with. Bax, on the other hand, is her adult soulmate. I feel like he can understand her on way more aspects. He is also more mature than Ari, who keeps on going with his whims and his "you ruined my life". Ari is Summer's childhood soulmate and her dearest friendship. Bax is her adult soulmate and the start of her new self. At the beginning of the season, I was all team Ari. I really wanted them to work things out and to end up together. But, even though he tried, he was not honest and utterly confusing the whole season. The slow burn with Bax made me change teams the second they interacted.
Ever since I first met Summer in the first season, I could tell she was the type of person to follow her own rules and is very independent. However, Ari was always so easily influenced and almost didn’t have an opinion of his own. So, once his new girlfriend came in the picture it truly showed how easily he is influenced. Baxter is such an independent and strong individual. However he longs for that someone to rely on as he could never rely on his parents. Similarly to Summer. Both are just such a fantastic match and I hope we see Baxter again next year. Him and Summer clicked so well, and he is so much more emotionally available than Ari. Baxter is so thoughtful, and definitely a strong contender. (I hope endgame). This literally is feeling like the SITP!
Summer should be with Baxter, Ari literally had sex with Wren when he was "in love" with Summer that's so disrespectful. A part of me wonders if in season 3 that's going to be addressed. Also, I should have known I wasn't going to support Ari and Summer the moment Summer asked for help after she literally risked everything for him to be able to compete in the competition and he could not even return the favor.
When he said I hope he realizes how lucky he is I got so mad because ari was with wren and if he really liked summer that much then he would break up with wren but Baxter was always there he really liked summer and tried so hard to get her and ari didn’t try at all Baxter deserved summer not ari
