Anant Nagarkatte (born 4 September 1948), popularly known as Anant Nag, is an actor from Karnataka, India. Reputed for his natural, under-playing style of acting, Ananth has carved a niche in Kannada filmdom.Kannada cinema. He has acted in Marathi, Tamil,Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi movies.
He has also acted in Malgudi Days, directed by his younger brother Shankar Nag based on the stories by R. K. Narayan.. He is a recipient of six Filmfare Awards South and five Karnataka State Film Awards for Best Actor. His entry into Kannada films was through legendary G. V. Iyer's Hamsageethe. It is one of the most critically acclaimed movies. Nag and fellow popular actress Lakshmi are a hit-pair in Kannada movies. They acted together in more than 25 films. Chandanada Gombe, Naa Ninna Bidaalare (1979), Benkiya Bale, Ibbani Karagitu, Makkaliralavva Mane Thumba, Mududida Taavare Aralitu, Amma and other movies turned out as blockbuster. He experimented with negative roles (Shanti Kranti). He held his own with matinee idol Rajkumar in the movie Kamana Billu. Bhakta Prahlada, in which Rajkumar played Hiranya Kashyapu and Ananthnag as Narada muni was a big success. His comedy-streak was showcased in Ganeshana Maduve, Gauri Ganesha, Udbava, Undoohoda Konduhoda, Beladingala Baale, Hasyaratna Ramakrishna, Yarigu Helbedi, Dhairya lakshmi. Ananth Nag is a first-choice not just to old-crop directors but also young directors like Yogaraj Bhat in Mungaru Male, Gaalipata, NagaShekar in Aramane, Pawan Wodeyar in Googly (film). Dinesh Babu. This particular character I think nobody can act better than Srinath... Even Dr.Raj... Vishnu (perhaps to some extent, but style & mannerism would clash a bit)... Mammooty, Kamal Hassan, Amitab, Shahrukh... You name whom... Srinath should have got an award for this film or Manasa Sarovara... Kannadigas should know how to project their talents... Excellent movie this, and you will feel for all the three characters, circumstances are the villain, but circumstances are actually the heroes, because otherwise you will not get an interesting life & meet-up of characters!

I couldn't believe such good movies are there in kannada. It is difficult to believe that such people like the character portrayed by Anant Nag do exist.
If this film was made in Tamil or Telugu (even with their rat faced actors with artificial forced sentiments), I am sure their people would have screamed so loud like this is oscar level, this is jupiter level in such an intensity that entire Karnataka (Kannadigas) would have gone mad & watched that film 2 to 3 times at least! And this will further give way/make room for 10 average Tamil/Telugu/Hindi films to conquer Karnataka market & flourish! And the story repeats! But unfortunately it is a Kannada film (original at that), so a random person like you will tell "Oh, I cannot believe this is Kannada film" (see the intensity of Kannadigas in contrast!) this small voice will forever be escaped/vanished in the deep bushes! So Kannada film industry will be ruled by rotten rogues & thugs who will churn out on the dysentery left by other language movies (Average Remakes as you cannot buy the rights of top films) and their own vomit of decayed mass formulaic films! So a louder voice "the dirty useless Kannada films" will be heard handsomely & registered in the memory forever! Perhaps you might have understood all the linking here!
But for me Saritha character touched more. Because she neither had that unrealistic stubbornness nor fickleness. Usually such ladies will easily forget the past & embrace the new man or will live in misery without accepting the new man! But she balances both and has right emotion to both the men & both the fraction of time! She is matured enough to accept the reality and understands that no one but fate is responsible for the situations! She loves & respects both those men (and perhaps thanks God & fate for giving both these men in her life, not in lusty sense but in divine sense!)
