bought this exact light almost 4 years ago on eBay. still works great. the cord on mine was able to stretch enough to reach my power port in my regular cab f350. works just fine during daylight hours as well. it's cheap though, first one they sent me had a bunch of screws loose and flopping around inside and I was sceptical to ask for a replacement but the second one has held up going on 4 years.
Looking to buy one for myself, in all blue as emergency lights for being a volunteer firefighter, so before I buy one I wanted to ask some questions to fully understand what I'll be getting. Assuming you chose to only magnetically mount it, how do the magnets hold up? is there any possibility of the light bar detaching from the roof of a vehicle when driving? Secondly, as I mentioned above, I'm a volunteer firefighter, meaning that when I'm using this light, it means that I'm going to be driving very fast either to the fire house or directly to the scene of the emergency. Assuming that you keep this light on the roof of your truck year round, regardless of it being used or not, what is the fastest you've driven with the light attached to your roof and have you noticed that if you go past a certain speed the magnets may fail? Lastly, I saw another review of the same light but in split amber/white, and the guy in the video showed the us the light turned on in daylight and at night (in snow) from close up and from considerable distances. He said that the amber isn't the brightest but that the white really helps to make the light noticeable. Since you got all amber, how bright would you say the light is? Thanks
I do leave it on the roof year round. Top speed prob 140km, however, once since I've had it, it blew off the roof at around 95km.... No idea how or why. As for brightness, daytime kinda sucks but fine at night. I would say that for the price it was worth the money, but would suggest something a bit better for emergency response.
Got one of these. Considering its so cheap. The next step up for something brighter is 10x the price. Its almost as good as useless in glaring daylight unfortunately. But any other conditions are fine.
It has a very strong magnet that holds well. I only had it slide off one time while exceeding the speed limit in early winter with frost covering my truck
You got ripped off, $30 right?, I have the same light but blue and a straight and longer cord, XPrite makes them and there are knock off companies that make the one you have, mine was $30 also
you dont want this it is not that bright an you can only see it on certain angles i gave mine away here is a good one that is cheap www.ebay.com/itm/White-Amber-Xprite-36-LEDs-Strobe-Light-Bar-Roof-Top-Mini-Beacon-Warning-Flash/322094841159?hash=item4afe593d47:g:VXoAAOSw2gxYr02e&vxp=mtr
AhTan production if you want na good one and is cheap led outfiter is the best I have the 18 flex light bar on the top of my truck and to grill lights in front and it still works
If you were truly worried about your safety, you wouldn't trust your safety to a $30 China Amazon light. Don't go cheap on warning lights. There's a reason real public safety professionals spend the $$$ on lighting.
go to xsprite there lights r better and brighter very inexspensive ive had that type of lightbar it sucks it wasn't bright at all. that's xsprite.com go to amazon they have there light bars there and they r reasonably priced.
JablesOutdoors You get what you pay for. A Whelen, Federal Signal or Sound Off beacon is orders of magnitude brighter and better built but also many times the price.

True. Night use is just fine, but only really keeps you legal in the day
I just bought one and now it's on my truck
Led outfiter is cheap and still good I have one

JablesOutdoors oh the struggles of plowing
Tractor supply has a better one for $100USD. I still prefer a whelen or something along the lines of whelen
Hi there. How do you keep this on the roof top? Magnets? Are they strong enough? Great video by the way. Regards from Paraguay
