From my experience living in Japan for a while now, it seems like Kyoto has more hand made fabric culture compared to Osaka.
Not to mention that is completely my subjective opinion...
Oh, and the company "giraffe" that manufactures these beautiful ties is based in Tokyo, so it's all over the place in the end.haha
@@OsakaJazzChannel I see. I never went to Kyoto on my Japan trip, but I've seen quite a few travel videos on it. The concert hall in Osaka was in a hotel, practically across the road from the Sheraton where we stayed. I don't think it's there anymore. It was an old building, with very old opera lights, and the fog machine was rather smelly (a New Year's eve concert, mind you). The new airport was still under construction, but the old one was pretty awful, especially the bathrooms.:) That was nearly 30 years ago...

Just looked up the info on google maps, but doesn't seem any concert halls near Sheraton in Osaka exist anymore...
I was still in Hong Kong in my youths 30 years ago.
Definitely visit Kyoto if you have the chance to visit Japan again!
