Every comedian appears on every other comedian’s podcasts and they tell the same stories over and over again. Then the conversation invariably drifts into how hard they all had to work and pay their dues in comedy. And how no one on the outside understands how difficult this line of work happens to be.
Being a "funny guy" is NOT the same thing as being a "professional comedian". Just because you're a pisser to hang out with when you're all hanging out drunk at the bar, does not make you a professional comedian. It is a craft that people strive to perfect, and develop for many years. They hone that craft and work very hard. It is offensive to think, that just because you could drink a lot of alcohol and make people laugh by getting naked and putting a lampshade over your head, you can call yourself a professional comedian.
I might be alone here but im a fan of Segura and think its funny when hes with kreischer. I just wanna see what people who are not fans have to say. No hate

What I hate about him is his neediness...I sense it so palpably, it makes me think he would have bought my friendship if we were growing up in the same neighborhood

Hearing the producer laugh enhanced a little in that one clip has further swayed me towards thinking that they add that laugh in post. I was already suspicious of it being an edit rather than a genuine laugh. Now I'm confident enough to put $1000 that at least 75% of the producer laughs are edited in, if not 100% depending on the episode.

This is shockingly bad. Tommybuns was generally a great guest when he's on JRE. Here, this just doesn't work. Tom and Bert might be great friends, but the chemistry in having conversations isn't there. I'm amazed that anyone would fall for the scam of buying a 1x1 plot of land. I own land in my home country, and I remember paying probably $1000 just to have a lawyer file the documents that make me the legal owner of that land. Scammers are brilliant because they come up with scams that normal people would never even dream of.

You can't compare WATP to Ellen DeGeneres because her show is a network supported show on television and this is an online youtube series. The only time I've seen Kreischer was when he guest hosted Bad Friends and he was terrible. There is a kind of "comedian", a lot of them know Rogan or knew O&A, that really are just people in the cliques and are just around. Like, who goes to a Big Jay Oakerson show? People local to him or that know him. Comedians like that basically just say, "I'm kind of a dick, I get on people's nerves, I'll just really lean into being me!" It's more like underperforming performance art. Kreischer and Ari Schaffir would make a good duo to avoid.

2 Bears is an objectively terrible podcast in its current state. Most of the humor now comes from Tom encouraging Bert's never ending train of horrible life decisions while Bert thinks it is genuine support. Watch an episode with a co host of literally anyone than Bert and it becomes pretty okay, actually. Tom and Bert are both successful comedians, all the podcast bullshit they do is truthfully nothing but supplemental income to them (and perhaps maybe just an excuse to get out of the house and hang out). When you can put in the minimum effort and reap the maximum rewards, why the fuck not.

I’ll be honest, as someone who’s watched Tom Segura and Christina P’s main postcast “Your Moms House” for years I never could stand “2 Bears 1 Cave.”. Sorry but Bert Kreisher just isn’t that funny for short periods much less for a long form podcast. He’s somewhat funny the first time you hear his one main bit but it gets real old and real quick. I really can’t stand 2 Bears, it’s another example where the quality obviously suffers for the sake of quantity and putting out yet another boring podcast.

The only time I've seen Kreischer was when he guest hosted Bad Friends and he was terrible. There is a kind of "comedian", a lot of them know Rogan or knew O&A, that really are just people in the cliques and are just around. Like, who goes to a Big Jay Oakerson show? People local to him or that know him. Comedians like that basically just say, "I'm kind of a dick, I get on people's nerves, I'll just really lean into being me!" It's more like underperforming performance art. Kreischer and Ari Schaffir would make a good duo to avoid.
Sorry man, but Big Jay is probably the funniest comedian alive right now. Seems like a nice enough guy on his own.

2 Bears is an objectively terrible podcast in its current state. Most of the humor now comes from Tom encouraging Bert's never ending train of horrible life decisions while Bert thinks it is genuine support. Watch an episode with a co host of literally anyone than Bert and it becomes pretty okay, actually. Tom and Bert are both successful comedians, all the podcast bullshit they do is truthfully nothing but supplemental income to them (and perhaps maybe just an excuse to get out of the house and hang out). When you can put in the minimum effort and reap the maximum rewards, why the fuck not.

He used to be hilarious but he's losing it and I hate how he teams up with unfunny comics. I dont like YMH because Christina isn't funny at all, and I don't like 2 Bears 1 Cave because Bert is annoying asf. It's like they're rubbing off on Tom.

I’ll be honest, as someone who’s watched Tom Segura and Christina P’s main postcast “Your Moms House” for years I never could stand “2 Bears 1 Cave.”. Sorry but Bert Kreisher just isn’t that funny for short periods much less for a long form podcast. He’s somewhat funny the first time you hear his one main bit but it gets real old and real quick. I really can’t stand 2 Bears, it’s another example where the quality obviously suffers for the sake of quantity and putting out yet another boring podcast.

you didn't get it at all. it started out as a regular podcast, then it quickly turned into tom cruelly egging on bert's constant stupidity (showering in his pool, picking his nose, eating uncrustables, etc.)
