This is great. But you wouldn't connect the database like that by clicking a button. You would retrieve data when click the button so the connection string has to be in configuration settings

Yah off course it is for absolute beginners that's why I put everything thing in button click

Too many ppl cut corners & hope the juniors understands. If we think they are beginners they will always be so beause they now have to go and learn the best practices. I see a lot of videos not being watched as a result of this, like 7 yrs will 1k views.

@@thomascayne Yeah but the whole point of the video was to highlight how to connect the database, not to connect and then retrieve data from a live database. The knowledge provided in this video does not need to be "unlearnt" it just needs to be built upon, which happens naturally as people learn.

Is there anyway you can make a register page where the users details is stored in the MYSQL database except of retrieving it ?

After that if they login, their email and password should match that of the database which they gave us from the register page. Then their information should be displayed on their profile page
