I really love these type of podcasts and when English kpop stars actually do interviews in English. It may be just me but these type of interviews are so much more raw, authentic, and relatable. Like I've been a czennie for a few years now and this is the most personal I think I've seen Johnny express out of every interview he's done in the past. It's nice to see their more human side rather than always asking them to do aegyo and shit. I hope they can bring Mark into this next 1 on 1.
i’m replying late but i also noticed it’s because we get to see more of their personality through their english. like i mean through nuances in speech, word choice, and small things like that which we aren’t able to catch onto when they speak korean (because we don’t understand it lol). mistranslations through subtitles happens all the time and i feel like we miss out on a lot of witty stuff idols say because it’s difficult to translate it in english. whereas with english speaking idols, we can catch onto everything. and yeah i wish more korean interviews were more personal because it’s much more endearing getting to learn more about idols beyond the surface level aegyo and mbti lol

the SPEED with wich Johnny picked Haechan over Mark was stunning 😂 my man didn't stop to think not even for a second 😂🤣 but I get exactly what he means. Mark just goes with the flow and lets someone lead the way while Hachan has no trouble making decisions and taking a lead of the situation, traveling with him would be definetly easier (depending on your own personality too ofc)

I loved loved loved this interview. Both of them seem like they’re genuinely friends and Johnny seemed super chill, I don’t think I’ve personally seen him talking so openly before. Plus I only really know the jokester personality and deadpan humor that he usually displays in his vlogs and in interviews so it was super nice hearing him be a bit more relaxed and “vulnerable”.

some of the stuff i knew prior after being a nct fan for years BUT hearing it from johnny himself, going over his timeline, and being able to openly speak about it is so much different. i enjoy seeing more sides of the members on and off the stage, its nice to see their personalities shine through the cracks little by little on camera. super happy johnny was able to come onto dive studios
As I gradually get to know NCT 127, I realize that they are very down-to-earth and sincere people.

I enjoy watching this episode very much due to because it's Johnny. And also his compatibility with Eric. Eric is one of my fave solo singers for a long time now. NCT is one of my ultimate bias group since 2016. Looking at Johnny here double confirm what I have thought all along......his features are more to American instead of Asian. Handsome Johnny. I hope to see more of Johnny in shows like this. Love to hear him speaking in English. And looking forward to his Fashion activities in the future and DJing too.

Johnny isn't my bias but I always enjoy his individual contents. This interview is so entertaining that I didn't even know it was almost an hour-long. He feels so comfortable to watch in his solo contents. I hope that they'll have him on the show again. I love his and Eric's dynamics.
the SPEED with wich Johnny picked Haechan over Mark was stunning 😂 my man didn't stop to think not even for a second 😂🤣 but I get exactly what he means. Mark just goes with the flow and lets someone lead the way while Hachan has no trouble making decisions and taking a lead of the situation, traveling with him would be definetly easier (depending on your own personality too ofc)

I loved loved loved this interview. Both of them seem like they’re genuinely friends and Johnny seemed super chill, I don’t think I’ve personally seen him talking so openly before. Plus I only really know the jokester personality and deadpan humor that he usually displays in his vlogs and in interviews so it was super nice hearing him be a bit more relaxed and “vulnerable”.
I was having a really rough day and listening to this really made me feel a lot better about myself. I’ve never appreciated Johnny enough for how down to earth and well-spoken he is.
This just made me 200% wishing Johnny is my bff. Well spoken, chill and calm 🥹
