As a black woman without a booty I completely understand what she is saying. However I will not be attempting a BBL even if had the money.
I saw a woman with a bbl today and yep it looked ridiculous and far from natural. I’m also glad that my man is strong enough to realise I have lost my mind if said I wanted it. He will ask me at I crazy and probably want to leave me.

There are plenty of us who like small booty women. Get with one of them. I used to like big booty as a kid, but as I grew older, I stopped liking it because those girls tend to be the most mean and have the worst attitudes. Small booty women tend to be a lot nicer and more humble. Big rack women are nicer, too, btw... but big booty women are the worst. You can't tell them anything.

Back in the day I heard a lady say I can't wait to get married so I can let myself go. It was a joke. However, she said this knowing that she didn't need to look good for anyone else because she's married.

Same here. Absolutely NOT. A woman should not abandon her wisdom and unnaturally put her life in danger just to aesthetically appeal to her husband.
It's one thing to enjoy wearing a certain color, hairstyle, or outfit that you're comfortable in more often because your husband told you it is his favorite on you, but a husband who values your safety and loves you would never request for you to unnecessarily risk your life in this manner.
This was bad advice and gives strong male centered, pick me energy and I rarely use any of those terms to describe women.

As a “strong male centered pick me” I was not giving advice. I was stating what some couples actually do. They make a decision together for things like this. That is different from the woman deciding on her own and the husband being against it. Think about the intent here and remember we are talking about an enhancement. You are focused on the wrong thing. I don’t promote surgery at all, but I am aware of what actually goes on.
We are all going through a lot of social problems in our lives eg racism, sexism, rape, all types of crime, but there are things that may not seem important that we must be grateful for. There are curvaceous women all over the world especially black women, but the leading country is South Africa having women with natural curves and big behinds, but on top of that there are some who still go for BBL. I’m not judging or talking down on the women doing BBL but we should be grateful for the little things The Most High has endowed us with.
I think it’s odd that yall believe that because she’s a pastor and believes in God, she shouldn’t have insecurities or make some bad decisions in her life. So I guess all of ya’ll are perfect…huh?
As a woman pastor she should KNOW better. That’s the real argument. Why make your ass an asset as a woman who preaches the word. What is odd, is that YOU think we should accept, condone, or normalise these kinds of behaviour. What 'church' are these people attending? the church of Satan? Certainly not the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST. We are not perfect. But we do strive towards perfection, like Jesus said : Be perfect like your FATHER in heaven is perfect. Ultimately, bone structure and genetics is what it all comes down to. Some women can squat and eat all of the healthy fats they want and their butt will NEVER look like even the mildest BBL... and that's okay. There is nothing wrong with that, and women need to accept that not every woman is an hourglass or pear shape or has the bone structure to SUPPORT those assets and that. Is. Fine. These women need to love themselves as they are; there is no beauty in every woman looking exactly the same.

I have a coworker who after we made a killing during Covid, she said she wanted to go get a BBL. I did everything to try to get her not to do it. She didn’t listen. She did it. This was 2021. Today the BBL is gone. And she spent like $15k on the whole thing. It’s ridiculous. I think women put a lot of pressure on themselves

We are perfectly fine with ourselves until we are told (made fun of, ridicule) of a supposed flaw. For black women, we are made fun of or ridicule if we don't have large curves or big butt. It creates an insecurity. I used to be insecure until I realized I only felt that way about myself because of other black women.
True. Also, being ridiculed about our hair texture has caused so many woman to adorn wigs, for months at a time, and braided extensions all the while losing precious hair follicles on their edges in the name of vanity and social acceptance 😢
Black women can be very cruel in their insults. They will pick out a flaw and call it out before anyone. I think they do that because many of them hate themselves and insecure about their looks, so to protect against that insecurity, they strike first. Like have either of you noticed that it's always the ugliest ratchets who are quick to call somebody else ugly?? I never see this kind of behavior from naturally beautiful women. They tend to be nice... but it's always the most imperfect woman who has the most to say about somebody.
So true. In high school I was really skinny with next to no curves. I didn’t realize it until someone said it. I gained weight throughout my late twenties to late thirties. When I looked in the mirror I was obese(wearing 16/18). I decided to take back my life. I went natural, changed my diet, hired a trainer, and therapist to address my various traumas. I’m now happy, healthy and wearing sizes(6/8)😊.

I like your channel. You speak a lot about BBL and its dangers. BBL’s are dangerous and shouldn’t be procedure people risk their life for. But there hasn’t been a discussion on weight and how weight loss is not priority. I feel more blk women are affected by obesity vs BBl’s.
