Is the Little Drummer Boy in the Bible? | Christmas Sunday School Lesson

“The Little Drummer Boy” is a song that you often hear during Christmastime. The song says that there was a little boy who traveled with the wise men on their way to bring their gifts to Baby Jesus. The little drummer boy had no gift to give Him, so he played Him a song on his drum instead, which made Baby Jesus smile. This song might be cute, but the little drummer boy from the song is not a part of the true story of Jesus’ birth. It does share a good moral, that God loves it when we give Him our best even if our best doesn’t seem like much to us, but it’s important that we don’t get confused about the real story found in Scripture.
