Watching these old shows with June Allyson brings back a lot of memories when there were a lot of shows of this type. They were so innocent compared to what we have today. My God how the World has changed. Or is it The People who have changed - not the World !
What an intermission? Some of these episodes are better than a full movie. Came across it accidentally. Besides the print was clear and dialogue audible. Thanks thanks
27:29- "Next week's show"- "The Doctor and the Redhead", featuring Dick Powell {June's husband, and executive producer of the series} and Felicia Farr, was originally scheduled for April 25, 1960- but was postponed until after this episode.
"THE DuPONT SHOW WITH JUNE ALLYSON" lasted two seasons, through 1961. Season one was featured on Mondays at 10:30pm(et) [following "HENNESSY", another Four Star production].

What a pleasant episode! I felt entertained and peaceful at the end. This is the kind of evening viewing I know is good for me.
Glad you enjoyed it. One of my favorite episodes too!
Thank you for uploading this show high quality print and sound
My pleasure!
Wow . Such a charming likable woman . June Allyson .
The professor worked with Allyson and Jane Powell on her unsold pilot . Five of the seven GI regulars provided support for some big Hollywood stars .

Oh no! It's June Allyson in a TV show! What the matter? Didn't the movies want her anymore?
