Yo I'm in tears. I really hope he pulls through this. He is the first rapper I ever got into. It's been 22 years since I got introduced to his music. X you will always be my go to when I need that real feeling. It's truly a sad time in the music world.
I come to this when I need strength. When I do wrong, sometimes when I do right. I'm here now because I did something wrong and I'm finding it hard to forgive myself. I suffer from addiction to painkillers it started at 18 I'm now 24. I found some of my mothers pills today and I stole them. I cried and shook in fear when I told her. Not the fear of jail or anything like that, the fear that she wouldn't love me or I'll always be like this. She said I'm sick and that it was okay and she loves me, she said I have a sickness. No matter how many times I play back her saying she forgave me, I can't forgive myself. I took her things, I'm having an impossible time trying to forgive myself. I feel horrible, like I'm not worth it, that I deserve nothing for being a thief, that I don't deserve a life here. Christ is my savior and my mother is my best friend. I hurt her and I'll never be better. I don't like to hurt people, I don't want to. I wish how I knew how to tell myself that I'm forgiven. I just keep hounding myself. I'm crying while I write this. I love my mother and God, but I don't love myself. I'm an addict, I'm a mistake.
I pray that you see this. Listen to me please. I was a pill junkie from 18 to 31 years old. In that time I had a son with a girl I really did love, but my addiction ruined that for us. She loved me back. I ended up getting arrested on a felony charge and did some time. I'm now 37 and 6 years sober. For me, I signed up with a methadone clinic. It's not for everyone but it saved my life and I've done a total 180. I pray for peace for you brother but if it interests you, check out a clinic.
